Number of participants per game AE, MK9 and MVC3?

whats the expectation on how many participants per game???. is/was there a limit?

how many pools? i heard 16 man pool will run for this year. that would be a hassle since AE and mk9 are on the same day.

so top 2 players in each pool will move on .is this correct?? or is it 1 player per pool??

no limit: the more the better. last year there was 1700 entrants for SSF4. This year even more but dunno how many exactly

AE and Mvc3 are on different days
friday: AE
saturday: mvc3

Improvements to Evolution 2011 Tournament Structure

At Evolution 2011, all Pools will contain a maximum of 16 players. All your games in your initial pool will be played in a 2 hour session. The top 2 players from each Pool will move on to the Quarter Final round in the tournament schedule for later in the day. The top 2 players in the Quarter Final round will move onto the Semi Finals scheduled to start immediately after the Quarter Finals finish.
