So this is my second emulation type thread this week, I’m away with nothing but a laptop and a ps3 controller go figure I miss games.

My specs are as follows:
Intel Core i3 cpu M 350 @2.27GHz, 2266 MHZ, 2 core(s), 4 logical processors
Intel HD graphics card
Realtek audio sound
Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit

Moving on, I got nullDC 1.4 and 4 games of which I own legally (they’re on the other side of the world but hey) the 2 Capcom vs SNK games, MvC2 and Sonic Adventure 2.

Here’s how they run:
universal issues: sprites look shitty, I used my keyboard for control and in SA2 the characters always go forward and to the right a bit and can never walk a straight line (problem persisted when I switched to DS3 with x-padder)
CvS1: The health bars are there but are empty permanently otherwise ok.
CvS2:certain stages make it go WAY slow and it also slows up at random, playable… sorta
MvC2: The sprites look super shitty (I used Sakura she looked WAY worse than in CvS2)
SA2: SLOOOOOOWWWWWWW and choppy, it runs smoothly for like 5 seconds than just collapses it’s weird still it doesn’t crash.

Advice anyone?

Have you activated the capcom hack? It makes slow games run much faster. Also make sure you have these installed on your PC. Without them games experience bugs.

Capcom hack? First I’ve heard of it on my long searches.

You can activate it in the options menue. Designed for fighting game hence the name.

What do I do about Sonic though? and the other problems listed?

EDIT: Can’t seem to find the Capcom hack.

Sorry, got chankast and NUlldc Mixed up no capcom hack on NULLdc. Have you installed the things from the links i sent you? If that doesn’t work then we may have to try out chankast, but this is a much harder emulator to use

Check the post I sent about the capcom hack. 2 links on there both important to have installed.

Oh, yeah it wouldn’t work at all without those 2 I have 'em all right.

oh! But directx9 wouldn’t install because I have 11.

Did it fix your problems? Or are they still there?

I had to install them before it would even work at all.

I’m sorry without actually looking at your PC in person I can’t really do anymore. I don’t know if your aware but there is another DC emulator called Chankast but it’s alot harder to use than NullDC as it requires you to mount the CDI image to a drive using software like damien tools.
