Wtf, back to this thread I guess.
MvC2 is now playing at Gameware on the big screen. No more bitching that we don’t have Marvel. 
Unfortunately Happ sticks won’t fit in Sega cabinets without having to strip the control panels and drill new holes and shit, but I’m still getting new buttons for MvC2. Those japanese sticks are way more durable than american made, anyway.
Currently looking for a new cabinet for GGXX #Reload – I don’t want to give up and end up selling the kit and getting Isuka or anything, but this has been a pain in the ass. Once we get it running it’ll be one of the few #Reload machines in the nation. 
just finished making my second stick. Shit was a pain in the ass (using needle nose pliers for stripping wire SUCKS).
But anyway, free casual play (on working sticks that AREN’T green goblins) for anyone in NO that can provide a home for us to play in :D.
just ask tragic or and ask around at gamecombos in the gg section about what a good cabinet is for it pleeeealze

edit* lee, where you at?? i need to borrow that marvel… and learn rom, i cant get it to work… after i set it up and land, i high jump kick, kick, dash3, kick (but this kick doesnt connect)… very gay
Just played on both sticks for an hour, both work great. If I could replace them with bigger sticks I would, but all the Sega cabs have tiny, particular dimensions for joysticks and we would have to rip everything out and drill new holes and mount them weird, etc. SO, I guess we just have to play with superior Japanese sticks instead. :lol:
I might stop by tomorrow to test them out…
If we were Japanese I guess everything would be fine but were not . Belive it or not you would actually come out better playing at the Spaceport which give an indication on how difficult it is the play on the Japanese cabinet . I couldn’t excute any Mag infinites , superjump cancel or anything like that on those sticks . I don’t even have to look on at the screen to do Mag infinites and couldn’t get past 5 hits on those sticks . Should have gone with the American cabinet . Like the big screen though .
Hmm… I usually play Colossus/Gambit/Capcom so all my combos came out fine, but I can see a Mag being hard to play on those sticks. Shit, we might have to take the controls apart and drill new holes for some Competition sticks after all. It would be a HUGE pain in the ass, but I’ll see what our technician can pull off next week.
Hope everyone can give me feedback on our cab… keep in mind Marvel won’t be in there forever, though. It’s going to be our dedicated Atomiswave cabinet once Sammy vs. Capcom or SVC 2 comes out.

I believe that the Jap Cab is better…
For One thing…You can do more flexable things on it and they dont hardly ever break like most american sticks (Well all of them)
I dont mind the Jap sticks…Well I play on one at home ^^!!
I just dont see the problem with learning how to play on one…
Trust me it will help out in the long one because believe it or not it would help with playing on a USA stick…

Im just saying what I think you guys should do about playing on the Jap Cab for mvc2… Dont what you want!! But think about it(Is it really so bad!)

maybe I’ll be able to do a tempest at least on these sticks…I could do the infinite fine at SP…but tempest only came out like 25%…which is really lame when u abuse the ROM as much as I do…
I plan on stopping by tomorrow and I’ll give my review of the sticks…even though I don’t feel comfortable playin on anything other than a green goblin …
who gives a fuck, these games are pointless.
I agree with Chris here… after getting used to jap sticks on the Neo Geo and 3S cabs, my execution is way better on my MAS stick at home. Being able to feel all the angles and play properly on a shorter stick will make you a better player overall, so practice up.
