When you leavin? I hear like around july there somethin nice opening around br, A new gaming hang out I believe. Anyway its suposse ta be nice from what i hear. If its any type of arcade i sure they can have a big turny. But on the other side we do all need to get together and play some 3s and mvc2.

Yeah, that’s Gameware. We’re finishing our new arcade over the next 2-3 weeks and moving out the old machines right now. New additions will include 3rd Strike, GGXX #Reload, Initial D 2nd Stage, Guitar Freaks 8th Mix, SVC Chaos, Samurai Shodown V, etc. Pay more attention to the thread!

Hey Ben i forgot to post this a while ago… The reason yalls MvC2 wasn’t making money was cuz t he machine sucked bad. The sticks were like at a 70 degree angle and the times i went over there to play the controls were rarely working. At least the times i went over there. If the arcade gets to the point where a lot of people are going over there then it’s a game that will need to be there. It’s the one game that’s outlasted everything in existance. It is at a low point in popularity now, but it always does this like every 2 years and bounces back.
i picket outside arcades without mvc2. any arcade w/o marvel is weak.
marvel still has the biggest crowd, ggxx is a fad, 3s gets boring quick and 3d fighters are fads. long live marvel
chris, if u want a mvc2 tourney then hook it up dont try to sugar coat shit like “oh we could play 3s too” no forget that, there is no place we can have both tourneys that will work unless u mean on console, the sp 3s machine is a piece of trash, and we cant have it at gameklub obviously since yall havnt been leanin on the staff that hard enough to force them to get rid of that silly ass no cash prizes rule.
just do marvel at sp and be done with it…
Why do so many people hate on the spaceport 3s machine?.. I mean, it’s not in great condition… but still. How hard is it to pull off moves in 3s in the first place? it’s based more on mind games than ability…
…if it were a marvel machine I’d think differently…cuz it’d be pretty hard to do infinites and triangle jumps…etc… but its 3rd strike for crying out loud. :rolleyes:
Really its bad but not that bad, Its like the marvel machine. Sometimes it has its good days ad sometime it doesn’t. If u sux at 3s you gonna sux reguardless. The sticks really aren’t that big of and issuse 80% of the time. I mean nick seems to do “okay” with them (ahem 30-50 game streaks… suxor) what lee sayin is tru, to a point.
I’d unfortunately have to agree. People spastically play Marvel, especially if they can’t play any of the other games well, and it still makes money to this day. And with the few Marvel players in Baton Rouge, it’d be the thing to cement them staying over there instead of Spaceport.
Some arcade managers don’t know that fixing sticks and buttons will generate business. The GGXX machine in Game Klub is losing business because the right side has a button that glitches out, so no one plays it seriously other than scrubs that twirl the stick around. -_-

im used to playing on sticks that dont suck ass and feel like a fucking stop sign when you try to do moves… so yes they suck… people who play on scrub sticks all the time are used to them cough nick cough thats why they dont have trouble…

Personally, I prefer playing on a green goblin…but yes I can play on different sticks. You my boy must learn how to adjust. The sticks arent perfect, but sometimes when you complain about not being able to dp i can do it just fine…so…it might be an “operator” problem as my boss says.
Ahaha, Nick’s right about getting adjusted to sticks, man. You’re too spoiled on that 360 stick, even though you might’ve not broken it in correctly last time I checked? :lol:
Daigo might’ve learned Potemkin since he counters Slayer since he’s a popular choice as of late. And he isn’t known to just stick with one character, have you seen him play Vampire Savior? Bishamon, Jedah, Q-Bee, I forget who else he plays.
sadly one thing ive learn is skill is there bad sticks or good sticks so you really can’t blame the sticks to to much. Which doesn’t say much for me…
its so cool how u missed the point lee and started a whole talk about the sticks. good job, the fact that so many of u commented on it itself says they could be in better shape, but arnt for unknown reasons.
to the point at hand, the fact that i was alluding(wacha know about my spelling^_^) to is that the machine is a version 2 thus making unblockables impossible urien oro yun yang ect. if this doesnt aplly to most of us its ok its not like me or nick do any unblockables with yun or yang right? tell duane that, if he shows up and tries to play urien, the cabinet handicaps the char like 50%, it would be like oh look only iron man cant do inf but its ok cause not all of us play him in mvc2=D the version is bad why have a tourney on it if chris was talkin about mvc2 have that, have the 3s on a good machine ala gameware machine, maybe different date.
