It’s one of the best arcades in the South, maybe in the US. It’s only 2 hours for me. Top competition in every game. Friendly atmosphere and the owner C-Mutt, one of the nicest guys on the planet. Sticks and button always in top condition. The players over there are real laid back. Really big scene over there period. With the new set up they have, all the machines are on free play. I know for a fact the N.O. crew would rather go to Stargate than to VS. period.
Seriously, that VS tourney isn’t even going to be that big. Raising up the pot and prize doesn’t mean you will atract people to a tourney (look at N-Cubed in Omaha). So you are saying the #Reload tourney at Stargate is going to be small? Some of the best players in Texas are going to be there… After all most of the best players in that game are from Texas period.
It’s not even all about money at all. It’s all about who goes and credibility of the establishment. Why would I ,or anyone, go to a tourney and play like you and Nick when I can play David (Asian Hitler)and Chris (Crow) all day. People who are way up there on the so called “Food Chain” or whatever. Baton Rouge doesn’t even place when they have tournies there and N.O. goes.

Does VS even have arcade cabinets, and if so what cabinets? Is this thing being ran on a Super Nova set up? Why haven’t I heard any awnsers to these question and the tourney is just a few days a way?
