Hate to say it, but the Austin scene in general>most of us in 3s. I was getting owned by rushdown Ibuki for free. Well, until turtle Q came in. Then she was owning me at a lesser degree. Also the parrying. Man, random crouching kicks were getting parried for free. I just think they’re on a higher level since they play more. Oh, and David Hem getting 2nd with Necro just after learning him THE NIGHT BEFORE is too good, David should be banned.
I really think we need to step up in #Reload. Although I’ve noticed very minute lag even with the better converters for the ps2>xbox converters, it gets really annoying at times. So it’s either PS2 reload, or Xbox reload with xbox sticks made from xbox controllers. I’ll try to work on the latter when I can.
Me getting 4th place in Virtua Fighter Evo was so random, but I was pissed and hyper on coffee after I got knocked out by fubar and genius in #Reload.
You Louisiana pad scrub David got 3rd in 3rd Strike, Crow got 2nd iirc. David did really well in all games, though that shouldn’t be a surprise.
I noticed some minor lag on #R too, but only on the station w/ the plasma screen. For some reason, my moves wouldn’t always come out. I scrubbed out anyways, so it didn’t really matter.

I noticed very slight lag in a lot of things that used converters, even with my official ps2 pad. Unless it was hooked directly into the PS2 console version. It was workable, since the universal pelican stick also has lag due to being split three ways converter-wise, but it’s still a pain if you’re picky. I’ve heard of the tv thing, although I’d like to look into it more.
I dunno, I’ll just work on Xbox pad. Ask lanburner2k, he’s been destroyed by it today.

I noticed immediately when you showed me the small amount of lag you were experiencing with the adapter. I conducted a test at my place a few weeks ago, and basically my joystick with the Dragoncube adapter did not lag at all, not even one MS. I think certain PCBs are just picky with certain adapters. Anyway, the whole thing is pretty gay, and we are just going to try to get enough copies of the import PS2 version next time and run everything on that. I didn’t want to do X-Box anyway, just trying to keep things legit. Well, next time hopefully we will have more original import copies.

Well as I said, fight night can be anywhere between Wednesday night and Friday night this week. So you guys should decide fast cuz if not then the Halo whores are gonna take over all the tv’s and X-Box’s. really? my problem with the xbox d-pad is that for some reason i find myself iad’ing all the time, anytime even when i don’t hit that… other than that it’s fine for me… also, the button positions suck soooo much i can’t do an frc : (… i have a converter so meh… i will use the stick… friday, thatd be cool if i could make it down there, i doubt it though… who knows the exact address? im gonna mapquest it.
busting domes on ken players when your playing on the left side at lsu union is too good. i figured it out… all you do is parry everything and then hit them with a fierce or something once you parry… also kara tick throws all day… do it twice and the ken player will wake up the third time with a dp… parry and fierce… so easy to train and bait them. :tup:
Man, me and Dawan have the same retarded problem, blocking down-back comes out late sometimes. Oh, and I’d mess up tiger knee ensengas, and sometimes I jump up straight instead of jumping forward, so I guess I just suck at hitting the diagonals on the pad. Still, the dpad is workable. I can frc just fine with the buttons sticking out like that, didn’t miss Johnny’s frc during his juggle most of the time.
