Man why weren’t you guys here at Dibbz’s today? I had like no comp in fighting games (T_T) Well anyway, I have a special annoucement. Kevin, manager of Dibbz’s, wants to hold a special night just for fighting games. ALL 6 of the TV’s are going to be on reserve for fighting games only. So, people, this is your chance to show up and make this place big. Bring as many people as you can, get the word out. The amount of people that show up determine what games that are going to be here in the near future. I’m in charge of setting it up. It has to be a day Wednesday or later. I was thinking Friday night since that is when most of us go to GameKlub anyway.
I say fuck GameKlub and come here and play for like $2/hr. Oh yeah don’t forget to vote for which fighting game to have for the first tournament. So far SFIII is in the lead (yay!). Oh yeah, you do have to register to the forum if you wanna vote, but it it’s like hassele free, so don’t worry about it (5mins tops).
some of us need to get their ps2 sticks made/fixed. I swear if duane lived by me, he’d have that damn mas stick fixed like a year ago. jb, i need you to remind me to bring that solder and shit to fix your stick next time i come over.
thats generally the reason none of use were at dibbz tonight, we didn’t have but one stick… and i’m sure that the postion on sticks is going to make or break the fighting game night :.

say dawan, when they do have the fighting game night, you guys should tape the matches. I’d pay for my own copy definately. I really want to start watching my own matches and see if i can improve from that. Saving replays of random good matches just cause they looked cool isn’t exactly helping

someone needs to teach me how to capture vhs, then maybe i’ll invest in a shitty camera. I just don’t understand what’s needed to capture it, like what cords, or if i need to buy a firewire card.
EDIT: oh shit, goggle taught me how to do it and i already have the s-video in, and sound in. All i gotta do is figure out how to record from a vcr or something.
