I appreciate any kind of help.
dude, I think this is more of a showoff then a request for help. I mean, you completely destroy that Rose, so I dont think anyone can give you pointers. Try posting a vid where you get beaten by a better player.
Tips! Tips for my new Bison please! :amazed:

Looks pretty good for only having played him a month. The Ken player in the first vid is actually my buddy Mike (he’s Cole’s roommate, which is why he’s using his account). We’ve played a ton, so I can give you a lot of insight into that match:
-When you’re mid screen against shotos, the key is to space yourself so that you can counter their pokes with your own. The ideal range you want to be at is max st hk/mk range. Hk does more damage and is great for stopping fireballs and toward+mk, but you’ll want to mix in mk since ken can duck the hk hitbox from far range if he’s crouching. With that spacing, you can stuff fireballs with your pokes, stop fwd mk, and whiff punish kens cr.mk with your own mk or lk scissors. With this spacing, ken is also outside of kara throw range, and is unable to FADC his shoryus, adding increased risk to just throwing them out. You wanna be especially careful of rushing him when he has meter, since he will make you pay with shoryu fadc ultra if you get too poke happy.
-Once you get him in the corner, it’s time to go to work. You did a good job of keeping the pressure on once you got him there. Block strings, scissor kicks, and rh/mk are your best options in this situation. Try to keep him grounded as best as possible, and watch out for jump back hk and hp.
-Bison is weak to option selects on his wakeup, especially from shotos. If the ken player lands a sweep or a throw, watch for the OS safe jump fierce, and be ready to block. Mike wasn’t really doing it much in the video, but you should watch out for it. If they go for a crossup, then you can get away safely with a teleport. It’s best not to waste EX, since you want to save it for countering fireballs.
-Do not jump at Ken. Mike doesn’t shoryu jump ins (something i’ve told him he needs to do more). However, Ken’s MP shoryu beats pretty much any jump in. If you’re playing a good Ken, they’ll Know how to auto-correct it, which means that crossups are out as well. On top of that, Bison has one of the longest, floatiest jump arcs in the game, so anti-airing him is cake. The only time you should ever go for the jump is if you’re really, really sure that they are about to throw a fireball. And even in that event, Bison has less risky options to get around it.
EDIT: He can also autocorrect DP crossup psycho crusher. It’s tight timing, but I know players who can do it consistently.
Right tha fuck on! I had a feeling it wasnt cole juss cuz ive heard Flip champ say a few times it isnt him… Thanks alot for all that feedback tho its gonna help me alot!

I cracked after the 3rd round. I did do a few silly slides, and a few silly jump-ins.
You had him! and you let him go!..but yeah, you did have some silly slides and jumpins. Also, you had a couple full screen psychocrushers =/ and to be honest, I don’t blame you. It’s all part of the tournament nerves, I’ve been there. One more thing, why did you try to do ambiguous ultra in the corner? I’m pretty sure Ryu can just dp out of it.
EX PC done fullscreen is + on block, catches hadukens as well. Sometimes I find it the only viable way to get in on guile/ryu/dhalsim if you predict the fireball. The situation you speak of that tactic had worked like 3 or 4 times by then and it was obviously baited.
Ambigous ultra was just basically me using something different, by that time he had figured out most of my tricks. It was a bit of a yomi thing as I knew he wouldn’t try to DP out of it, normally I don’t do that. It’s kinda like Woah, I’ve played 5 sets with this guy and this hasn’t ever happpened.
I’m a risky roushdown player and I do take ALOT of high risk/high reward situations T_T. My patience always runs out too short.

Hello everyone. I’m not actually new to Bison or Shoryuken but this is my first post and I would love some feedback on my Bison.
I mained the Dictator all the way through vanilla but I didn’t take my Street Fighter-playing very seriously until Super dropped and since then I’ve felt very uncomfortable about the way I’m playing. I often get the feeling that I’m playing him the wrong way (especially after looking at other dic’s). So please take a look at some fairly recent matches I’ve uploaded and tell me how bad it is :S

‘(especially after looking at other dic’s)’
No Homo.
Hey man, there’s nothing wrong with admiring another man’s dic.
But seriously - anyone interested in providing some feedback on my undoubtedly shitty performance?
I watched the 2nd Balrog match.
You get a life lead first round, continue to attack and it costs you. Sure you have him in the corner and Bison is all about corner pressure but you don’t look too assured in your corner pressure game. If you get a life lead and stay back it forces Balrog to have to come and attack you, thus losing his charge. Just let him come to you once you have the life lead and keep him out with st.mk/st.rh. This match-up is all about who gets the life lead as it has a great impact on how the match-up is played out.
React to his dash punches with EX PC and punish his overhead on block with c.lk xx scissors.
You give him free jump-in pressure A LOT in that match. You want to adjust your spacing so you’re slightly further back. That way you can punish his jump-ins with RH, c.fierce or even st.fierce in some situations.
Although I respect going for FADC scissors combos for style points it’s not useful. You gotta hold onto that meter man.
Once you practice your execution, spacing and strategy in that match-up you will be fine. I still find the Balrog match-up pretty tough because it involves a lot of footsies and zoning.
I dont know where to post it:

Weird stuff. Bison does the “worthless” stuff if you win the round by timeout but why does he say it this time? :o
An ode to SF2!
