Sharing the premium stream with the office this morning. Looks great!

No prob buying premium stream (which I did), but increasing the amount of ads to almost force you to do it is definitely a crappy move. I would’ve bought it just for the higher quality stream.

As constructive criticism, I do understand that there is a premium stream without commercials available, but I also feel that showing a commercial after almost every match on the free stream is a bit much. Maybe there is a happier medium?

Want to watch the tournament without commercials? Go to the tournament.

I paid for the premium stream, mostly just to support vesper cause of the good job he did on the sf4 tutorials which are amazing and it is hard to try and get a solid stream up. Not gonna complain about the DC’s it happens to the best of people and some of the comments by the stream monsters were a bit…harsh to say the least still even when paying for streaming I still saw twitch.tv adds which actually interrupted some of the HDR tourney stream, not complaining to an extent but it seems like false advertising saying no adds for subscription if there are still going to be adds regardless from twitch.

Other then that, good job and I am a bit sad about MK9 not being streamed hopefullly the matches were recorded and will be uploaded to youtube?

It kinda sucks for international viewers that you have to pay for the archive footage, because there´s no way most people are going to follow the tournament at 3 am for example.

And I don´t have a problem with ppv streams when it gives you a choice to get a 720p quality without commercials. But people like me dont really have that choice. If I want to watch, I have to pay regardless of the quality. I really hope this doesnt become the norm.

I appreciate all the hard work, time and money that’s gone into making this tournament amazing as it is however it’s not cool that you were let down on the stream side of things.

Vesper arcade had a shakey start but eventually managed to sort it out later on in the day. I paid for the premium stream but I was still seeing ads, sometimes in the middle of matches which I think is unacceptable as one of the reasons for going premium was for no ads.

I was pretty annoyed that I was banned from the stream by some over zealous mods who I’ve never seen before on any streams and after some digging found out they are mods for day9tv one of whom was quite proud of his actions http://twitter.com/#!/MarkyOchoa/status/133003796799434752 and http://twitter.com/#!/MarkyOchoa/status/133021681705955328

Aside from the stream issues I think this tournament is amazing and next time it’ll be even better.

I don’t mind watching commercials, especially if it helps the streamer; I just don’t think they need to be played in between every match. I get where you are coming from, I guess, but it doesn’t really have anything to do with what I said.

this is probably the future of live streams. atleast spookys streams would be worth paying for.

Here’s some screenshots of the HD stream. Looks really bad, constantly dropping frames, still seeing twitch.tv ads, archives are just as ugly (and will be on Youtube anyway). After all of this, LapChi and Vesper have the audacity to get on the mic and join in on the $8.95 trolling.

they said everything is eventually going to go on vesper arcade’s youtube

Tournament has been amazing, I just wish the stream was as good.
I purchased the premium a day before the event, and so far I’m disappointed as far as quality goes.
I’m not going to bother with a refund, as MANY other people have, because I’m still happy to support the community, regardless of what I get in return.
