Okay real talk. When the MVC3 came out I ran really good with my original team of Modok/Sent/Hagger. But as the meta game changed and people started to adapt, I knew that I had to create a new (more broken) team. I picked up the guide ($25 at the time) and it was the best investment I ever made. The frame data alone was worth it knowing what you can punish and what your characters are capable of. Some of the combos they have in there are a bit impractical but it gives you a general idea of what you can do so you can modify them to your team. Anyways you guys are prob bored of my rant so I’m gonna get to my final point.
Wanna know the absolute best part of owning a carbon copy of the guide? You can take it to the john! Why read crap while you’re taking a crap when you can look at colourful pictures of your fav marvel/capcom characters and learn the game at the same time?! I know I’m getting one =) See you all at the tourney.
No cap on the bracket, depending on turnout we may split into two smaller tournaments to make things faster. Same prize payout is possible if enough entrants.
would i have to pay venue fee if im just gonna come around 12 to pick up the pre-ordered game? i have work till 11:30 so i just want to get purchase the game and leave. i assume you guys will close up after the midnight release right?
