I think the commentary makes watching the ranbats a little more interesting. Especially when a lot of players chime in. Makes me chuckle and gives me a little more insight on the WC scene. Just my two cents, however.
But this tread isn’t about Ranbats so those with useful posts continue…
Private tourney (maybe round-robin) of people I think should be on my team. The winner of this tourney will get the 3rd spot on my team.
My team will then enter the FFA team quals to go to japan. The winner of the qual tournament (possibly not my team :looney:) will then get tickets to go to SBO and compete.
SBO is 1st week of May, aka “Golden Week” because three national Japanese holidays all fall within that week. Hotels are very difficult to book because of it, so beware.
I believe the event will occur May 4th or 5th. Tekken has a different date than 3rd Strike, possibly.
As for fundraiser tournaments, that is a distinct possibility. 3rd Strike is having fundraiser tournaments done as well. When FFA gets a DR cabinet, we’ll start holding them.
I hate when people are like “rockefeller is gay, kokujin is a way better commentator”, when they don’t know what the hell he’s saying. Basically the only word I hear Kokujin say is “Throw” in Japanese. And I guarantee if Rock screamed out THROW!!..THROWW!!! Everytime Amir got in a Kara throw, you guys would have him murdered.
I love the commentary, especially when it has many people guest-starring.
rock is a fag caus he talks alot crap thats unrelated 2 3s. he also tries 2 sound japanese-“SHORYU SHORYU!”-that shit is irritating.and y the fuck does the music have 2 b turned off?!if we r gonna b subjected 2 listenin 2 his whack bullshit, atleast keep the music on-like they do in japan
Is it me or does nobody in the US have a problem with this private shit. We got like ajahzillion players and more than have the team is already chosen by default? I saw how you guys did at SBO on a google vid and Pyro had a phat ass comeback on afm’s chun I think it was and frankie beat the hell out of some of the japanese players but somebody in the us besides yall could have had some similar matches against japan.
Some of those TX people come to mind, Henry Cen, and some New Yorkers come to mind. Canada comes to mind. AX and C Royd,Ack, etc. Cliffor Pirece from Nebraska comes to mind. I think that tourney should be open to everybody not just your homies. All I’m saying, not trying to start nothing.
