are you talkin about when a character rolls, you either dash or double dash and magnetos c.lk will be facing AWAY from the opponent but still hit? i was messin with that earlier, its a crossup MOST of the time. not sure about the other side cuz i put the manual controller on block and tried from both sides and it would be blocked from one particular side. but thats when i got the exact result of crossing the guy up but lk facing the other way. if you fuck with the timing you can get a BUNCH of weird shit.
Mag on 1p side
-opponent rolls, mags dashes, STAYS on the original side, but the c.lk faces 1p corner (did it on sentinel a few times, havent tried other characters)
-opponent rolls, mags dashes, crosses up, but lk faces 2p corner and connects
-opponent rolls, mags dashes, crosses up, c.lk faces 2p corner but WHIFFS and a glitchy effect happens and mag returns to original side
-same thing but, mag stays facing 2p corner
the hardest one is mags will be RIGHT in the same spot as the opponents sprite and shit i would never know which way to block regardless of what
Most of the people I do this to say they are blocking normal and even tho mag is still facing the current dashing direction and the c-lk seems to hit from behind mag i would see this as a cross up since the other character hasnt had time to turn around or is in the process of turning around. I mostly get this off of psy aaa then c-lk dash in.
it’s stand fierce, not jumping… dash in / under, fierce, SJ. cancel - have fun. time it wrong, and you get kicked in the face and probably lose magneto. general consensus is that it isn’t worth bothering with unless you’re using it to reset infinites on sentinel (and even then, people just do tempests in the corner)
