anyway, gbursine/vicious, how are you handling the honda and cammy matches?
this is what I know:
honda
up close he wants to get out his throw/ochio/hands mix-up, if you have meter you put him on edge abt this (ex al’u’aqbar kick)
cross-up dive kicks are good, help him lose his charge, stuff reversals. does honda have a decent anti-air normal? standing jab will work against dive kicks against but I’m not scared of tht
j.HK owns him in the air, beats out his pretty good air normals and he seems to have a slow enough jump to do it on react
dive kick beats jab headbutt (is this his best no-meter anti-air?)
cr.HP his strong/fierce headbutts on block <— this is not a good exhange for honda (chip vs a cr.fierce) so it shuts down his headbutt noise
jump back fierce owns his headbutts
FA butt drops, dash up throw/dive kick, or crumple > owwwumadd; I’m sure you can FA ALL (even EX) butt slams. you can’t FA any reversal butt slams obv cos all reversals break focus
it’s pretty hard to bulldog your way in when he has a lead but vert jump dive kick yr way in incrementally and unpredictably
tornadoes beat headbutts in the same way as blanka balls but it feels like shenanigans more than solid strat to me

Cr.MP is fine with Bison but EX SS does insane damage you may need to win.
About Honda, stay out of the air. Any form of J.HP will beat out everything you have. I tried multiple things but nothing worked. Only jump if you are trying to move in with dive kick shenanigans.
Other than that everything you said was spot on. Can Cr. Jab beat out Headbutts like Blanka Balls?
No overhead but her Hooligan combo is deadly. You have to hit her out of it unless you feel like eating dirt. You can’t jump but you can prolly backdash if you have the reactions (not online). You can’t tech it etc.
Other than that, punish punish punish. FA is good with her since her only armor break move has HORRIBLE startup.
hooligan combo is loltarded. it’s useless. you just need to crouch block (it doesn’t hit crouching opponents) and option-select throw as she comes in lol
You could usually FA Buttsplash all the time weather EX or normal, it may be a update from the last patch? (If so im happy about it

someone said, “o cammy loses to fa’s” so i started implementing fa’s into my game against cammy. and while in some matches, fa’s don’t even hit, it deters cammy players from doing their random shennnanigans.
a few things i do as opposed to cozy’
-i do quite a few faXX dash back
-I throw or jab blocked drills
-I c.fierce blocked cannon spikes(though punishable on HIT w/ cammy’s ultra[/lame])
-I c.mp hooligan too
ima record my next cammy match. I haven’t had too much trouble anymore w/ cammy.
honda i’m still working on
went to wcg thing today, and played alot’ve different pple(wong’s chun & arturo’s seth) I could tell today, the game’s evolving. I played a smart vega…lol his flipping j.somethin or other 45 downward punch w/ claw assist and airthrow -_-.
Someone on gamefaqs (yeah, I know) said you can punish blocked blanka balls with HK messiah? That doesn’t sound right, I don’t think there’s enough time for that to work? Can anyone confirm?
I am getting smashed by zoning Ryus. They will get their distance on me and hadoken spam fire and jab shoryuken if I do anythig else. It’s hard to get in range for a Galactic Tornado counter without hitting 2 fireballs on the way in, but once I get meter I know I can ex Messiah kick. Anyone got any advice? I try dive kicking, normal jumping, and mp Snake Striking the Hadukens but still get owned.
Ok, so has anyone seen the last tier list on eventhubs? I know tier list arent always reliable and/or important but I am the only one that thinks that tier list is just retarded? Anyone that plays rufus knows that we dont have a 6-4 in our favor against seth, blanka, dhalsim or honda. Im sure rufus is on advantage against blanka and have only a 6-4 against gief or sagat.:rolleyes:
Meh, like you said, tier lists dont matter. For me I have harder matchups against certain people that others. Like I find Sagat easier than Blanka etc. We all have our different play styles that cater against different opponents.
