I think one of the bars here tried to ban women and trannies from their establishment. Banning women is just stupid, but I can totally see banning trannies. Around here at least there is a tendency for those types to be all violent and starting shit cause of the huge pageants that take place in SA. My bar is one of the few that put up with them all the time and trust me sometimes I could really see banning them totally.
Anyway, I haven’t seen the dude I’m all about in like two weeks. Which is fine cause it puts more time in between his breakup and getting to know me and all that. I ain’t trying to be Chris Judd, I’m trying to be Marc Anthony.
So I read this book called the Book of Joe and even though my friends and I only picked it up at goodwill because the friend with us was named Joe, it turned out to be really good. Hahah, and the character named Wayne (my bf’s name >_>) ended up being gay lovers with this other character, and it was really not what I was expecting, but it made me laugh. ), an IV drug user, or a sexual partner of either… and today is the day for walk-in appointments for the 20 minute blood prick test thing. I’m really not worried or looking for “good luck!” or anything, I just figured I’d type about it here 'cause there’s nowhere else for me to.

I know, I know. I… know. Came back negative, sooo… only way I’d have it is if I’d contracted it in the last 90 days, which could only be from him, and AFAIK he’s getting tested today/this week.

Thank god for 20 minute tests. I can’t imagine having had to have waited however many days/weeks back in the day. Last time I got tested I was neg, and I haven’t had any action since. Kinda lame, lol.
I’ll never forget my first hiv test because of the wait.
OMG i had to wait 2 and a half weeks to find out. and those 2 and a half weeks seemed like they took 20 years. I was freaking out… haha… i did what chris rock talked about in his “bigger & Blacker” special. I started trying to find old hoes i fucked around with years before that to see if they were still alive. LOL!
I get tested about every six months regardless. These days even if you don’t have sex with anyone you never know when you’ll get HIV from a mean look someone gives you. Better to know.
The wait for these things don’t bother me. I’ve never been worried about it, and my last test was like three weeks ago.

Yeah, the tester is male and makes you give him head, and you have to seem like you like it.
Nah, I don’t know, anyone could probably pull it off, but if you didn’t have a backstory you’d probably get figured out when they start asking questions and stuff. Essentially though, yeah, you could just pretend. It’s not exactly common knowledge like a sign that says “IF YOU’RE GAY IT’S FREE” they just ask you if you’ve had any recent risks that would make you think you were at risk; if you’re a man who has sex with other men, an IV drug user, or a sexual partner of either. They just advertise the free HIV testing on sites where only gay guys would be, etc.
Unprotected sex with prostitutes is considered high risk too. So straight men could just say that.

This changes on a regular basis. The latest favorite seems to be T.R. Knight (the guy who plays Dr. O’Malley on Grey’s Anatomy) because of his recent ‘ordeal’ with Isiah Washington (Dr. Burke on Grey’s) calling him a faggot before he even knew and then Knight decided he wasn’t taking that, so he then came out publicly and spoke out against that whole thing and then went on some sort of GLAAD awards and blah blah blah…
