I was hanging out with this dude for TWO YEARS and everybody but me knew he was gay the entire time. One day one my other buds called him a dick and he said “well I am what I eat” and I was like “WTF man you realize you just insulted yourself?” We actually argued about it for a second because I was trying to explain to him how he insulted himself and he was trying to explain to me how it wasn’t but I’m dense. My straight bud and him just looked at eachother and the dude told me he was gay. Man, I have the worst gaydar around.

No. Never been in a locker room with my type of guy though. It was either really old really fat guys at the gym, or overly athletic gross-6-pack kinda guy. I keep to myself in the locker room really.
Depends on the person but usually I let them figure it out or flat out ask. I’m not one to bring it up, almost ever, because I don’t find it to be necessary or relevant. Plus, nobody ever believes me so I wait until THEY ask if they’re that curious.
Somebody with that kind of attitude would definitely not be someone I would tell. No wonder you were the last to know and he just made you figure it out. Once someone makes enough awkward homophobic remarks, it takes them past the point of being able to comfortably tell them something like that.

I used to work at one as a flyer guy, and it was heaven for me when I was there because the place was chub city. They had a tattoo shop there too, and the guy who ran it was pretty cute.
As for locker rooms, I avoided them like the plague in high school, but when I did use them, it happened once or twice.
