Champagne beer and wine are all horrible when you’re new, definitely acquired tastes, but I’ve never met anyone who would take tequila over rum if taste was an issue. I guess it depends on how cheap or crappy the rum/tequila is, too. I’ll drink patron straight but if it’s some jose cuervo gold or something, gimme some joose. I’m at the point where I can drink almost any liquor straight with no problem. Maybe not if someone bought like a $5 of Popov or something though.
