Northwest online round robin tournament - going on NOW

You guys are all probably snowed in too, so let’s have an online 360 tournament. Rules:

  • Tournament is round robin
  • An entry is a character+player combination
  • You can enter as many times as you want (with different characters)
  • Best 3/5 rounds, best 2/3 games. No switching characters!
  • Everyone plays everyone else (Except yourself if you have multiple entries)

I don’t know how the first one went…but if we were going to do this again we should definately try to get this going! I’m staying in today due to the new batch of snow we got, so just hit me up via aim or something if this is going down!!!

hmm I dont understand the rules. It seems like round robin would take forever cause of player count? Could we do little mini tourney? I guess im thrown off with the (can enter as many times as u want?) how does that work in a round robin?

Im all for a random tourney for NW, but i need clearer rules i suppose. This set up doesnt make sense to me right now.

Can we also get a quick player count to see who all is really down?

The rules are easy. It’s a round robin, there’s no fixed timeframe, you just play the people on the thread. It won’t take forever because everyone can play in parallel.

Ok I see how you are doing it now. Each character you sign up is a separate round robin bracket. Alright, so im in this 5 times with these chars =P

If you wanna make it more precise, people can post the actual round scores. So it could be 2- 0 or 2-1. This will help eliminate ties in the end.

hehe f we get more then 8 people, think we should limit the amount of character entries to 2. Otherwise it will get a bit out of control. Which is what its looking like right now hehe.
