Well, that was a blast! I even managed to win a match in the BB loser’s bracket. First victory for this noob. It was great to meet a bunch of you folks, seeing as I just moved to Redmond from St. Louis. Good times were had.
Big props to Brent for organizing this thing, and especially helping me get my TV to and from the event! (Now, I just need to find my roommate to help get the damn thing out of the box again…) Glad to see folks having fun on the gear I was able to bring.

Arturo, Air is actually from here in BC dude. He studies in Japan or something and plays there too obviously. He came down and played in a smaller local tournament a week before NWM. I think he’ll be heading back in not too long but he will of course return to BC eventually. I don’t know the specifics of it. :china:

Hey this was my first tournament and it was a blast. Thanks to everyone for putting it on. Got 1 win in SF4 which makes me feel like a scrub for how excited I was, but then I choked and lost two in a row. thanks to everyone again who showed up and help put this together it was amazing.
Yo pool A was the fucking Truth…Pool D had it pretty hard with some hitters, but pool A was a fucking death trap.
I money matched Air and made a blog about it :lol: no homo…but yeah set went 3-1 Air…he was pretty good, and I’m glad I could learn from the match we played.
And Kuenai is a punk bitch right now after I read the shit he said…Fucking grow up kid…you can start by stopping punching your face intentionally after you lose matches.

Most of it was stuff on the Big Screen and also the SF4 finals on the smaller screen(s). Next year if I can figure out HDMI recording then my life could get A LOT easier, but I’ll worry about that after I get back home from Seattle.
Many thanks to the host of Northwest Majors II! I hope more people turn out for games such as Guilty Gear, HD Remix, SF III, and KOF XII next year. Street Fighter IV was really popular at this event.
