This tournament will be used as a North West Majors 3 seed qualifier. The top 2 players from each game will earn a seed in their respective game. I know some folks are going to Canada for their SSF4 AE tourney on the 22nd, but our time is short.
Controller/Stick Problems:
YOU ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER!!!
You are required to button check before your match. There are no excuses. The LS/RS excuse will not fly. If you have any stick/button problems at anytime during your match, its your problem, its your job to make sure your stick is reliable. The round will be played to conclusion and you will get a chance to fix your buttons or replace your stick next round.
I can bring my two monitors again for Marvel. I didn’t hear any complaints about tv lag for SF4, so we will use the big TV’s again for that tourney.
Rescheduled at work to get off at 5pm so I can make it down.
Will bring my Asus monitor, PS3 and my own sticks, 2 dual mods, but prefer not to loan them out to people I don’t know, not sure if people will have PS3 sticks.
Any compensation for bringing a setup?
I prefer to play on monitors vs tv for SF4 if possible.
Hyre this is a stupid question of course, but what does having a “seed” do for a player entering a tournament? Does it mean that it’s paid entry? I have already paid my $30 to pre-register.
It is to put you further in the bracket for NWM3 in whichever game you qualify, rather than starting at the very beginning. I am not sure how far in though.
if you’re seeded it makes sure you dont play against another player that is very good in the beginning… you dont wanna play against someone thats hella good and lose to them in the first round when you know you can beat half of the other people right?
