Thanks to Brent and crew and everyone that helped run every tournament smoothly, fixing any problems that came up at the last second with unbelievable professionalism and excellent timing, every one of you guys rock.

Thanks to the limited entries in KOF12, so I can say I placed in the top ten of all of the pacific northwest in KOF12, even though I don’t know jack about that game.

Thanks to the good games in BlazBlue, playing a lot of good offline competition for the first time was an eye opening experience, but a lot of fun, and I feel pretty good about where I placed for my first major tourney, especially on all the non-existent sleep I got. (9th, with 32 entrants) Thanks for any casuals I got in afterward, though I regret not playing that much more with you guys, and I regret that not a single person would money match me in this game, even though I am not that good. >:( Man.

A special thanks to Lord BBH and all of Team Portland in the 5v5, I was more than a little bewildered and flattered that you would offer a place on the Portland team to me, but I am unbelievably appreciative of the gesture. I’m not at the level of play I want to be yet, but I will strive to make that dream a reality, and work hard to try to get on next year’s team. I need a lot of work…but a year is a very long time.

Won a dollar money match in SF4. What what.

The only hiccup in the entire event for me personally was my stick dying in the middle of the 5v5s and not having it for the rest of those matches and the actual SF4 tourney itself. I don’t know what’s wrong with it yet, but I’ll find out, one way or another.

THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT CAME OUT AND MADE THIS EVENT AWESOME. HIGHLIGHT OF MY YEAR.

Northwest Majors was awesome. I’m pleased with how I did in KOF XII and STHD, SF4 not so much

I’d just like to give out a massive thank you to everyone who helped run this great event, everyone who came to make it as big and as fun as it was, and everyone i met and even that i already know. Even just chilling out and talking during the tournament with you guys, like james walton, francis, and jburns was real cool. munky especially, you’ve served me up a good amount of real inspiration to get better. i’m really going to miss all of you guys for the months that i’m gone in toronto for school. i want to be specific in some more shout outs but the list is so long and time is short so i’ll have to pass but really, thank you everybody.

The thing that probably made me the happiest yesterday was seeing the new 4-day-old melty blood get a lot of attention, for those of you guys who helped get that running (which includes me i guess lol) and kept playing to keep that shit hot. for those who don’t know, there was a side tourney (which might have been the only side tourney at NWM?) for melty, and i believe we had 12 people, which was only 2 less than 3rd strike! and I did a little of my part of telling watchers about this hot new version/sequel and that this shit is getting serious and the game is gonna be big(ger). there is no more mash in this game, we just got real, and i hope what we had running yesterday grabbed early respect for this game because seeing it get regularly-an-official-game-for-big-tournament big would truly make me happy

once again thank you everyone for making my last leisurely day living here in seattle a great one. also being on a cruise, uploading pictures is going to be difficult but i hope coordinate with the -real- photographer (my mum :x) to get it all done within the week while i’m not on land. will post again with a link to these.

just wanted to thank everyone involved with putting the NWM together, i had a great time and wouldn’t think twice about spending 6 hours(round trip) in the car to come do it again.

GG’s to everyone I played. Not an easy match in my whole run. Everyone’s skill level is outstanding. Brent, you receive the highest respect for your effort and execution. This was my first chance to see what it is like making it to top 8 in high level competition, and I must say, I have some leveling up to do…I barely made it there and was demolished when I got there. haha. I’ll see everyone soon. Really…really…awesome tournament.
