Ky is too fun. I ordered AC a short time ago, and I’m hoping I can find someone with a boot disc, so I can just fix the switches for the lid myself. Anyone mind letting me copy a boot DVD?

So who all plays this game? I just got it today, I been messin around with Robo Ky, ABA, and Order Sol. Kinda stuck between those three, dunno who to make my main. Robo Ky seems hella weird, ABA not in berserk mode is gross, and Order Sol seems hard to play. Something will get figured out soon.
EDIT-I did some long ass double key combo today with ABA (A BAY BAY!). It was pretty bomb actually.

Well Sean and I aren’t against the idea of you playing with us, but you’ll have to wait like a week or so brother. You’ve been playing in Japan, we haven’t played for years now =/. We’re still learning wtf a force break and slashback is.
I narrowed down my choices to either Robo Ky or Order Sol. ABA (A BAY BAY) is nasty when she isn’t berserk. It’s like too much for me to deal with.
Robo Ky will be kind of an underdog character, from my experience. I like Ky, but Robo plays kinda weird. It’s almost like playing ST Ryu, where every time you have space you throw out specials to build meter. If you can keep track of the tension bar and zone extremely well, go for it.
We gotta get AC going on friday 
I decided on Order Sol, because the dustloop forums are so nasty, I couldn’t find any AC combos for Robo Ky. Not to mention the fact that when I tried “tinkering” with him (hahah!) I couldn’t find anything, in addition to the fact that I kept overheating. The only combo I would do, is either low kick, low slash, low dust OR dust, dustx1000000, qcf slashx3.
Bomb huh?
He keeps overheating because you have to spam that vent move. Remember, it is also a zoning tactic, as opponents get knocked down when hit by it, and take a bit of damage. When your opponent isn’t taking to the skies, open up the vent and dash back, repeat until you’re comfortable with going on the offensive again.
But yeah, Order Sol is pretty bomb. I won’t be able to practice anything between today and friday, as I’m out of the country as of 3 p.m.
OS is pretty cool, but you gotta get his massively damaging air combos down, cause you gotta make the most of getting in
Robo’s DL thread has a link to some combo vids… though kuenai is right, its all about zoning / pressure. But now with heat causing flames (more hitstun) you can do a lot more fancy stuff… before exploding.

Hi. New to SRK here. I joined in hopes of finding some peepz to play with out here.
I’ve been playing GGX2 all myself for many years now. I’d consider myself an advanced player seeing as how I kick butt against gold characters on maniac. It’d be nice to have a good human player to play against instead of the computer all the time…
Anyways, I play Slayer and Millia(the only ones I know how to use o_O). I only played X2 on my PS2 and #R on my PSP. If what I read was correct, AC is at the PSU campus? Holycarp XD

Well… It’s relatively new as a game, so tiers are going to still be shifting a lot for a while, I assume.
But right now, it seems like the general consensus is that Eddie, Testament, Baiken, and Order Sol are high whereas Johnny, Bridget, and I-No are lower. Other than that there’s some disagreement, I think.
Alex - Stop smoking crack. OS was only high tier during KAQN combos. How was Amsterdam?
Replace OS with jam/slayer/pot/may as A rank. And Anji is pretty low too, but getting better.
99 - Good possibility. We’ve been out of the loop for awhile now!!! Don’t know anything thats planned to keep us from going this weekend. I shall try to rally the troops to show up.
