I live in the Scranton area and I’ve been to Adventure Games, it is a good place to chill. Their all-nighters are worth it (only $15 for all night gaming) and they offer plenty of space to let people truck in their PC’s and consoles, though I would call in advance to reserve a spot if you need a TV.

I think as long as its three people, its good to have a session. Id like to play again on the 24th, at adventure games again. I think if we let them know were coming, they may know people who would want to come out.

Hey guys, this is Jason from Adventure Games. I briefly introduced myself to you guys when you came up to AG to play. I’ve been friends with the owner and working with him to make Adventure Games as great of a social gaming hub and community since we opened in 2001. I’m a fan of fighting games, and while I don’t try to play competitively (anymore, at least), I have a great appreciation for the genre and I’m excited to see some new faces interested in making regular trips to AG!
I have some local friends and members of AG that might be interested in doing a regular fighters get-together. I will try to spread the word around and see what sort of interest I can drum up. Let’s see who we can get for the 24th, and we’ll go from there. If we get enough people to do this on a consistent basis, we could turn it into a store event and get special, cheaper pricing for it.

There are SOME “Evo-calibur” skills that are in the brews… I’m formerly an Evo contender… but what I can play now and what the two guys I played last weekend are, are NOT that. There’s no trash-talking, no super competitiveness… Just fun.
If you wanted to throw down in MvC2, I’ll show you some “Evo 2k7” skills. HAHA, since that’s about when I stopped improving, and have fell from since. lol
