Nice. We’ll have a way to stream it ready in case we aren’t in the big room for it, we’ll have a bunch of equipment with us ready to go. Hopefully we’ll get at least top 4 on Spooky though.
If it’s the same as the Abel one from Summer jam then:
- each Gief plays 1 game against each Competitior. 1 point for each win.
- After all Giefs have played everything out, top points wins “best Gief”
- a mirror is played in the event of a tie
Basically, that’s what it is. Except my first concept was single run through, you lose your done.
As for the competitors, they’re just this to fight against us. Nothing more then that, only the Zangief players have to pay, competitors don’t win anything at all.

If the competitors can’t win, then what’s the point? I think if a competitor beats every Gief then that should be worth something too.

Here’s my idea I thought of in school today.
At first, this was gonna be one zangief play one person at a time, if he loses hes out. But that would take to long. Then with Eric’s and SJC’s speculation, I added on to what I might be doing now.
-Zangief players pay ten, competitors pay ten.
-Each will have their own prize pool.
-Depending on how many Zangief players are entering, your fighting the first person of the 6 competitors.

1,Fran will fight Pete
2,Dr.Chaos will fight Julian
3,Come Back will fight Good Grief!
4,DMG Reaper will fight Zohta
5,Yung Hove will fight Dj
6,HAV will fight XX (Removing myself from this tourney)
It’ll be a best 2/3 set. Every person, including the Giefs, get a point for winning an entire set. Whoever has the most points from both “teams” per say gets the money. If it’s a tie for the Giefs on points, they mirror match, if the competitors tie, they fight each other. Every Gief has to fight every competitor signed up, and same thing for competitors, they have to fight ever Gief that signed up.

shouldnt all giefs fight everyone or are we suppose to fight just the one fight?
Every gief is forced to play everyone that’s competing. Even if your way low in points.
Sorry, I should’ve said what’s the point of the competitor entering. Didn’t mean for it to come off rude.
You could have the best Gief and the best Competitor face off in a final 2/3 or just a single match and split the pot 75/25 or something. Or just have them play for honor and give them each their respective pots.
Nah it’s okay. I didn’t take it as rude, that’s a great idea as well. Fighting for honors at the end.
Thanks haha. I think at the end of the exhibition, you’ll find that you have two very good competitors who would still give it their all for the title even though money is no longer on the line.
The events I’m signed up for are different than before. And I changed my mind about TvC and MvC2LT if that’s okay. I’m not going to enter those. Only 3s and I will enter 3s teams when I find team mates. Thanks!!
GIEF PLAYERS and competitors, I’m opening up one more slot, and giving my Gief spot up so I can make the “Brackets” on who fights who. So 2 slots open for Giefs, 1 more for competitors.

it should be interesting as i dont think i see a chun li in the equation in the gief challenge so it really could be up in the air… these are are very good options for gief
