I’m no expert but I think you’re really misinformed about the situation between N and S Korea. North Korea basically blackmails the US, S. Korea and other nations into giving them aid/money/food. Said aid/money/food then doesn’t even get to the people who need it but is kept by the government for themselves.
Communist is pretty much dead in China, only the government carries it in name.
China is pretty much Capitalism now, in name it is ‘Communism with Socialism characteristics’.

SK wants revenge but they don’t want it through war, they want it by not providing aid to NK. However, if they starve NK, they WILL fight, NK has been waiting to use the military and (weak) nuclear arms they have been building up.
So I think blackmailing is the correct word for what NK is doing, so the rest of the world provides aid. So that “solution” of not providing them with anything is not a good idea, NK obviously will not listen to ideas of reforming their economy and stop being a hermit country. (Somebody likened NK as grown man with weapons and nuclear capabilities starving and crying for food like a child)
If SK doesn’t want to go to war, they will have to stay getting bullied around for aid(which was happening from the beginning).
Much fear mongering about a Korean War Part II has been going on lately but I simply do not think it will happen.
And how do you propose they do this when they can’t even open up trade to anyone besides china?

Unless the whole current NK government goes down otherwise NK will just be the same, when people are staving and begging for aid, they are throwing parade to praise their leader like a god and broadcasting on TV. When their leader had a golf game, their official report could be like this: “Our leader hit 18 hole in ones for his first golf tournament .” (Funny…but really sad…)
Don’t hold any hope that NK will be reasonable. Without the back of China and/or US SK can’t really go war with NK. Even SK could win on its own (tbh who knows?) win but the price would be way too high to pay, (lives and the resource to fix the whole Korean after) and that is what NK bet on to ransom more aid.
north korea can’t trade with anybody bcuz they insist on antagonizing the west and their most likely trade partners (s. korea and japan)…not to mention the fact that they have nothing to trade.
that said, the french apparently use north korean labor for animation.
umm…not really. people in south korea NEVER “travel” to north korea unless they’re kidnapped which used to happen fairly often, and people who travel from north korea to south korea are refugees and NEVER go back. i don’t even know where you got this idea to be honest.
