I already asked them about two weeks before. They have to send it through corporate to get it approved because of the fact that they have summer events and corp NEEDS to see if it’s worth it.

I would say we COULD have a local tournament where the grand prize could be like a year of Live or we could do a pool–maybe 5 or 10 bucks buy in and the winner gets the pool.

I don’t know how easy it would be to organize something at next level because they already have a weekly tournament on wednesdays. I would also throw in local battles in fort lee.
Bergen County guy here. My friends and I are still coasting on post-EVO hype, and we’re all definitely interested in finding a decent scene around here (we’re all sick of online only). If there’s still a decent FGC presence here, we’ll probably check this place out sometime soon for starters.

We’re trying our best to get Microsoft to get KI to be an active event again. The problem is that the actual corporate of Microsoft doesn’t see gaming as much of a crowd attraction like their phones and pcs/laptops are. So we’d have to send corp a letter to bring it back to the GSP. It really sucks how we have NO arcades up here besides Local Battles and Next Level. I would Count 8 on the Break, but it’s more central than northern.

We would have to send it to their superiors for it. The associate said she would have to give it to her boss then it’d get sent to the higher ups, BUT I’m sure if we were to petition they’d listen as retail loves their customers and hate their employees lol

Yeah it’d be great to get a weekly/bi-weekly thing going on up here. A big fgc in North Jersey would be a great way for local players to really improve offline instead of having a bunch of online warriors lol.
