NECX was awesome and my favorite NEC of all time. It was good seeing everyone again and meeting new people as well. This was definitely one of the roughest SF4 tournaments ever I think. Everyone was definitely on their A game this weekend in teams and singles. Thanks to everyone who gave me props making top 5 with blanka. Uncle Blanks ftw!! Just goes to show that you can get far with any character as long you have confidence and learn how to use your character in any situation. I had to run the crazy sagat gauntlet!!! And papa joe was waiting at the end lol. But it was a good long battle between us and I enjoyed the hype!!! There were tons of great matches on stream and off stream.

Bryheem vs smoothviper trash talk was too hype! Classic! And bryheem dancing around OWNZ ALL!

Props to everyone who placed well and played well at NECX. Tough brackets to survive!!

Special thanks to Big E and Gamedoc for presenting NECX! Penthouse suite was boss status lol! Lol also the after party with wawa food and TEA BOSSES! LMAO!

On a side note: I’m also done with SF4 for now until SSF4 comes out. Just need something different now and hopefully SSF4 will give that new flavor that SF4 needs.

i didn’t really go out and meet SRKers at the tournament because i’m kinda shy / quiet. if you saw a short asian kid holding or using this stick, that was me.

i missed my first match in A2 (my friends got caught up in something, and we couldn’t make it back to the hotel in time). i won my loser’s bracket match, but then i lost to D’Nyc3.

i’m sorry i couldn’t take guy to the top. i’m such a noob.

Thank you Big E!!! This was my first big tournament, and it was no where near a disappointment. I can see now, why you love this venue, it promotes the community aspect like no other, late nights, knocking on doors and joining random games was the greatest highlight of my entire weekend.

nec is so beastly. hanging out with the mahvel gods sunday night was the highlight of my weekend. sodium keyes is my hero fucking posing on chairs and kicking over tables. rick mears is the chillest man alive, putting those goblins to work with blackheart. good shit to brandon for placing top 8 and for stepping it up in the 2nd set of marvel and coming away with the win. im not sure if im more frightened by erik’s shit talking or his sentinel but im not trying to fuck with either one. the spontaneous sanford vs. yipes exibition was too good. sanford owns marvel for free.
