Sorry you guys couldn’t make it. A lot of matches were recorded, including losers, winners, and grand finals, so those will make it up at some point, most likely at www.youtube.com/frameadvantagedotcom .
Probably not to the FADC youtube channel, more than likely to the website. www.frame-advantage.com.
I was wondering how VvV Scrub did in SF4, anyone have any idea. I couldnt make it this year.
did anyone record the shaq-fu tourney
yeah i will personally see to it that next tourny HD and (if classic is wanted) will get the set up it deserves… screw SF4 a waiting game is not that hype… trade ultra FTL
GVN WINTER BRAWL feb 27th
give sagat the o.sagat treatment
already there
Bill asked the players if they wanted to stream the last few matches, and we all unanimously agreed not to. I’m not sure of everyone else’s reasons other than my own, but I thought it would be a pain in the ass to end up vying for time on the big screen with SFIV there. The fact that HDR ran smoothly was enough for me, and I know Chris Doyle was recording matches, so there will at least be video in that manner.
I’m always willing to lend a set up if I make the event or related events. Not letting ST or HDR get set up on laggy hotel TVs, that’s just not the way to get down.
i’ll gladly bring a 24" monitor and 360 to any events i attend in the future because i know ST/HDR isn’t exactly high priority for the organizers.
right behind you when when when?
hombifend you are my favorite chun so far btw lol
Not sure if I want to go. After getting my ass handed to me in NEC, I’m having second thoughts and should just wait for SSFIV. I might change my mind…
Hey adnan
I own you free, don’t bet with me at a tournament. LOL
wow jeron made an appearance, nice to see that he’s still active.
I understand where ur coming and this could be the last major tourney for SF4 before SSF4 drops. To me thats more than a reason to go, plus I had a great time at NECX so I expecting the same expereince.
I know the grand finals were reccorded, Yipes was running commentary.
the only way to get better is to keep playing against great comp.
SSF4 will not be to much different.
I was gonna reply exactly what Eric said:
If you’re the type to give up when you lose instead of getting hungry, you won’t make it in ssfiv either.
I think I lost every mvc2 match I played this weekend (Well except against Jeremy) but every loss made me want to get better that much more.
you know…i’m all about ssfiv dropping, but i’m not giving up on tourney life. i went out in my forth match-up and just chop up the loss to underestimating the matchup.
if you take the time off now and wait until ssiv…how do you plan on leveling up? tournaments are a great place to get that matchup experience and it forces you to play your best (if you can).
for me…i’m looking forward to feb
When I went 1-2 in the ST Classic Tourney, having to wait like 3 hours total to play Justin Wong (Dude played so many games, I understand why this happened) and then Paul Wall for a pretty comparable wait as well. Mentally that took a lot out of me, I was thinking of passing on HDR, then krost told me about what was going through his head. “I did well, but the results don’t reflect that, and that’s not how I want to go out.” I immediately felt that fire again, and quit with the limp wristed shit.
You just gotta drive yourself to compete, like everyone says. Even folks who place have doubts, losing isn’t the most pleasant feeling in the world, so you have to confront it each and every time.
full singles results?
