Dropping KOF sounds like a really bad idea. Especially considering there’s a tournament for it as well.
I’ll add it under the list of things to do if there’s nothing else going on then. Will probably just play SF4 for the human player experience.
facepalm Thanks. I’m gonna try to make it out tomorrow/today (Thursday) , but it’ll be after you guys have already gotten back if I do come. Got a lot of things I need to catch up on, but I may just ignore it and come out anyway.

Yeah like I said before I’m just moving back to this state so I’m trying to get back into it. I’m only 24 but I was doing the Soul Calibur 2 gatherings with the old Winston Salem crew headed by Ceron (Will), King Lo, Ryan…etc back in the day when I was around 15-16. Then I moved to greensboro in 05 where I met this dude named Chet who apparently died (which sucks) then everyone kinda just disappeared. Then I move out of state. Back now, and Jon is the only person that I remember who still seems to be active in the scene.
I guess I can try to make that tournament on the 21st. Since Soul Calibur 5 comes out this month I’ve pretty much already given up on UMVC3 so I’ll just enter that for fun.
Is there anything in Greensboro this weekend? I dont have to work on Saturday for some strange reason. I must be getting dangerously close to overtime because my manager is a nazi about his labor hours.
Drop= drop for a month to concentrate on SCV. Not quit the game outright. I’d still play KOF at FR.
Looking at the FR schedule, Saturday is busy, Friday nothing really unless there’s some side games.

Strider’s assist is annoying but I’m learning how to deal with it a little better. I just always forget it’s coming. Viewtiful Joe is annoying…I also had no clue that punch was an overhead.

Ryan still plays Tekken I think. Ceron will probably be back for SC5 I imagine. Longshot (Doug) still plays, Blake (Beast Of Fire) still plays. Charles, Chaz, Dale, etc etc also do. Seems like mostly RDU people lol.

@Alice-Chan: Got around to checking today and its KOF:DM '99 I have for Dreamcast. Thought it was something the closest I could get to CvS1 since someone picked it out before I did. If I come out to EZ Friday that and VF3 I can bring.
You kept saying you were having problems in KOF, which has been out longer, so unless you’ve been competing in major SC tournaments since 1 I just personally think its a bad idea. IMO just level up in KOF, win some money, and mess around with SCV on your off beat. That’s just how I personally feel.

Yo i live in hope mills and i been playing 3s at the funfunfun more so than ggpo these day, glad i found a cab to play on. Offline is the shit. What setup do yall play 3s on at elite zone? I only have a ps3 te, is why im asking. I been trying to get into kof 13 too.
FFF has been kind of dead for awhile now at this point, most of the Fayetteville competition (and surrounding areas) meet up at EZ now. We play 3S on either system though mostly 360. I doesn’t matter what stick you have since most players have their own and you can just borrow. We’ve also been playing a lot of KOF XIII lately and we meet up regularly on Friday nights. Most players start showing up around 6 or later and stay until they damn near pass out (24/7 location).
It’s so stressful playing you lol.
Nah the KOF matches were really good. Just the awkward silence from all the raging was… awkward.
It was like, 3AM, we were both screwing up and my patience just wore out. Weird, cuz I used to be the master of late night playing-when-I-should-have-been-in-bed-hours-ago sessions. Getting too old!
That’s my same excuse too. If you guys had caught me at like 5pm or maybe before sundown I would have destroyed everyone there. Unfortunately, I didn’t arrive until late.
