UNC-Chapel Hill E-sports club is working on its Fighting Game Scene. The club is fairly new, but is very well organized and has over 100 members. However, these are mostly Starcraft 2 and Halo players, with some brawl thrown in. There are only about 8-10 regular fighting game players currently, but we have some strong SFIV guys, and we are working on finding other players and bringing them out. Events are held every other Saturday in the UNC student union. If you are in the area or interested in any way, anyone is welcome. lost ark got vampire savior. i would have posted about it sooner but i actually haven’t been there in a awhile. it was nice to actually play it against real people (outside of GGPO).
this weekend they are putting in KOF XI, mark of the wolves and X-Men: COTA.
annnd they are having a UMvC3 tournament the friday after the game comes out. entry will be free and prizes will be provided by acme comics (not sure what they’ll be). not a serious tourny by any means but will be fun if you’re in the area.
i also almost 1CCed batsugen which i know isnt that hard but it was exciting for me. :<

Remember guys that ReSe is paying for gas and entrance (Rules apply) if you are a regular part of RanBats. So go and carpool with schixofrenic and you won’t have to worry about gas and maybe even entrance if you place

I don’t know how many of you play BB or KOF but I a new guy at the RanBats that was asking about BB and wanted to get a RanBat started for it. So if any of you guys want to play in a RanBat for BB let me know cause I would like to get it started soon as well as one for KOF. The venue is FREE and the food and alcohol is GREAT! You would only have to pay for what you eat and play. Casuals, as always, are free

BTW, I have an average of 15 guys for marvel and that is only going up with Ultimate coming, 8 - 12 for AE, and about 6 for MK. Thomas is interested in coming out to play 3S0 but no one in Charlotte really plays it that much. So if you want some exp against him come on out and I can arrange for him to come out
