Make sure the 5 pin plug is in the right way. If you have it in upside down it will only have one direction working.

I can’t wrap my head around why madcatz is rolling out a line of TE fightsticks for MLG, which is an organization that the FGC [maybe except for tekken] hates.

Right now I have 2 TVs and 1 PS3 with AE, MvC3, MK, and I will have 3SO. I also have a spot for an additional TV and/or system if anyone would be so inclined to bring one. My major focus would be MvC3 and 3SO but any other game is more than welcome. I know MLG is coming to town so I’d be more than grateful to play some MK as well.[SIZE=7] PM me if you’re interested in dropping by. We’re not asking anyone to play on both systems. We’re allowing the participants themselves to choose which system they prefer to use. I understand certain games have a little difference in frames, but something tells me that people would usually pick the one that the general public picks. For example, in Tekken 6, there is a frame differential b/t 360 and PS3, but most stick with PS3, so I don’t see ANYONE going with 360 at the tournament. With the others, there probably is a little difference, but come on, if you’re mentioning frames in gaming, then you should be able to prepare yourself for those differences, considering you’re talking about a higher level of competitive gaming. If you don’t concern yourself with frames, then the duel system option shouldn’t be a problem.
I don’t know man. I think 3SO will not be around long either. It is neat that they are bringing it back but these new players that 4 brought out don’t know what it’s like to play a game where you actually have to input shit correctly. I don’t see them staying on this for long. At least the hard core players got a revamp on a new system and hopefully will pick up a few new players but to think this is going to be huge is just a dream, sorry to say it.
Oh shit Julian is back. I can scoop you up man but I will be going real early, I have to get everything setup. Call me if you don’t ride with Face. Shiki is going as well.
How bad is it really? I have never noticed it but then again I don’t read frame data. If it is that bad then why haven’t people said anything about it? Or is it something that only the Elitists can (think) see?
Just wondering cause if it is that bad then I won’t do it anymore. Matter of fact that may be the reason I have trouble when I sit at a 360 setup, it just feels different. Could just be me though.

Hasn’t happened yet. I have been doing this for over 6 months now and have had not one problem. If there is a problem then they flip a coin. I figured as I grow that some wont like it but for the most part everyone loves it. Most people have a dual mod now so it works out just fine and the only pad players are really on ps3, at least the majority.
The only reason I would not do it any more would be if there was a major difference between the two systems. Also, everyone knows, regulars that is, and I state this at each tourney, that if there is a problem with the decision then I just wont do it any more. Right now it just gives everyone an option and like I said I have never seen one problem with it.
