I’m assuming everything at Gamefrog today will be on PS3, so I can bring my stick for that. Unless otherwise please correct me if I’m wrong since it would suck to come out without the right stick to play on. I’m gonna have to bring 3 different sticks for EZ, so that should be interesting. Gonna have to find out how to mod a stick for multiple systems or something. Hit me up with some info if you know anything about how I could go about doing that.

So anybody feel like doing some charity work at the EZ Tourney, and helping me actually get good at MvC?
I fixed my arcade stick last night, worked great until I moved it. My experience with wiring amounts to an after school class I took once in the 10th grade, anyone with actual knowledge in this area want to help me out? Let me know what you charge for this type of work, it’s just cutting the cable, then re-connecting the 4 wires back together so they are stable once again.
I have a PS3, but no games on it, so if someone wants to supply the games for it, I can bring it… unless you need DLC in which case you’re fucked. you know what? never mind. Unless we play t6 on it every other game on ps3 requires DLC.

MY GOD THIS. I cant commend you enough for this statement. Yeah it might have been said over and over again but its the DAMN TRUTH. No offense Mike (Sofa) but sometimes your posts come off as “I demand a cetain level of competition because I am some hidden master of all these games” and once again, no offense but ive played you in AE, MK, Arcana, and Tekken…and thats not the case my friend. Two of those games im not good in. Hell I dont even play Arcana as is evidenced by Rob spanking me 17 times in a row, but you got on the sticks and I was having moving combo practice. And I wont be conceited and say how things have gone in MK and Tekken. Just saying how your posts come off, not how you are because youre actually a really chill dude.

Also about 3S. Like I said ive already put my hand in to play. Not many people know this, but the way I learned Tekken so much is that I took 6 months away from the world and did NOTHING but travel. I practically LIVED at the Crabtree Inn when the arcade there was the closest one to me that had Tekken 5 and DR. And now that im unemployed I have 6 months to do NOTHING BUT TRAVEL, and if that means spending a week at the beach at a time just to learn from Roski…then fuck if im not gonna do it. Everyone who DOESNT THINK 3S will make a comeback in a huge way and be showcased at every major right up on to EVO next year is a fucking fool. And I want to be active in the community for it.
EDIT: I know this is short notice but if anybody is looking to buy a PS3 I do have a 60GB model that I am not using that I have listed on craigslist and such for 225 but for ANYBODY here I am willing to sell for $175.

No disrespect but you’ve never played me in AE or Tekken and I don’t own Arcana or MK, so the times you did play me in those two games were more than likely the only times I played those games. But don’t get me wrong, the results for AE and Tekken would probably have been the same regardless. None of those games I’m good in. I do appreciate the feedback back though.

How do those statements entitle an air about me? I asked and I asked for people to play matches with. People said “PM if interested” and I did with no response. Hell, it was you and Kris who told me to get up on SRK in the first place if I was looking for people. I understand if everyone has there own clicks in NC, but honestly I just wanted to play matches with human beings and hopefully make it out to some major tournaments. If you didn’t want me over then you could of just told me, not ignore me when I did what you asked. At least then I would know I’m not invited and can move on from there. I worked out something with my boss just to get the day off for nothing. I hated that I had to turn down a ride from Demo a while back, but when asked to work before the offer ever came up I told my boss “yes” to avoid stuff like that happening.
How much is it to enter at GameFrog? I have been meaning to try to meet some people on the Forums here but real life stuff has taken over lately and I haven’t really even been playing at all.
Sofa: Actually I have played you in AE. At Jason’s house (emoprinny). Akuma vs Rose. Jump backwards air fireballs. And I showed you guys the Akuma demon shortcut that night. And we have played Tekken as well. You play Steve and you LOVE db+2, which I blocked and punished with WR+3,3. Remember bc I told you that everytime you do it youre giving me 30 dmg bc my punish is only 11 frames.
Either way. Youre a cool dude regardless and I will see you tonight and I will GLADLY MM you in AE and T6 hehe.

It’s not THOSE statements that you said. There’s an air or certain level of insinuation you can read from posts. “Like I Said” has a very matter of fact tone to it for a new player that most people have seen one or zero times. Also, take the one that Matt specifically quoted. “Not to sound like a dick, but you basically just repeated the same thing that a lot others did. And they were just as clueless,”? I mean you can throw in a “don’t take it personal” if you want but it doesn’t change much. A lot of other people said it… but THEY were just as clueless?
Hmm. I’m no detective, but if the topic in question is “how to get to gatherings” and the people responding to this general concept all say the same thing AND have been doing it for years… if anyone is clueless in this situation, it’s the one guy saying something else.
