That is why I find Tekken so frustrating sometimes. It’s like the game is best played/most fun at mid to upper-mid level, where offense is more rewarded.

I got my 100 wins in marvel online last night which is all I wanted, so now I can quit and never play that game online except for random trolling when I’m bored.
Trykt, I’m pretty sure I know the Ryu match-up better than any other match-up. It may not have been the one I played the most, but it’s the one I’ve played the most number of different people with varying styles in. Or at least I did in Super.
I work Mon-Fri 8-5 and have weekends off. If there is ever a Sunday session in Raleigh I can probably try to help you out with it. Maybe run a FT10 and stop and discuss between matches.

I’m surprised. I can’t remember exactly who it was, but I seem to recall that bashing Marvel a few weeks ago for all these random nerfs was very much in fashion. People seemed to be under the impression that these tiny changes would negatively effect how people learned matchups and such because without warning they might have to relearn their character or matchup.
I didn’t quite see it at the time, but now I definitely do. That’s why I have a hard time believing that we’re now actively defending removing a** fundamental element** of 2D fighting games (left/right mixup) from the scenario outright. This isn’t to say that I’ll now automatically regard all future complaints about updates and such from people as bullshit, but I probably will be doing that.
Cool if I stop by? I think I could possibly make it tonight, and wanna get in some Tekken … I’m down for Arcana too, if anyone has the game there… 
Laughs aside, better hit up Alice-Chan and friends for that, I haven’t seen anyone post about Arcana for a few moons.
Yeah to be fair, I don’t really play Arcana and neither do any of the regulars at my place. Tekken is pretty much the same. If someone brings an extra setup I don’t mind people running whatever they want, like Ando said he was but in the circumstance he ends up not coming out, I can’t guarantee Tekken since Marvel and AE take priority. Just a heads up / forewarning just in case =)

This upcoming Sunday won’t work (so don’t make one for my sake) but as long as a Sunday session starts in the afternoon I can attend future July/August ones most likely.
Nah I wouldn’t be doing on this week anyway, and EZ is next weekend so I’ll probably do my first sunday session 2 weeks from now. Is that good for you? I’m pretty flexible with this stuff so I like to see all of NC get a chance to come out and play.

So how would y’all feel for a little 5v5 against SC in both MvC3 and AE at the EZ tournament next week? Just a little exhibition to test the waters. 5 highest placing players in the singles tournament will be on the team tournament to avoid any complaints on favoritism.
Wouldn’t it be better to just pick our best players? IE What if you fight me first round, lose, then OJ first round of losers and then lose? (I know you’re loling at this but hypothetically) You could be one of our best players and just had a bad bracket… I’d want to go into the team tournament knowing we had our best players. Either way though I’m down.
