To be fair though, the only game I care that much about atm is Marvel and the only person that’d be worth driving out of my way for is probably Corner Trap so going to Wilmington isn’t a huge deal. Yeah I know I just called out like 10 people but fuck it, step your games up!

I think the pricing for Roski’s weeklies is at the right price point. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to pay $10 for a weekly, especially if they’re interested in all 3 games. That’d be $30/wk, or $120-$150/mo (some months have 5 weeks, plus gas). I’m sure that’s more than most people’s cell phone and/or cable bills.
I wasn’t sure if people were making the distinction between the weeklies or monthlies, but, I think there’d be a difference.

Yea google maps is usually spot on for me, I hardly ever go over 5mph past the speed limit. I’ve been pulled over enough for not doing anything, dont need to give em a reason on top of it.

Are you sure? I’m in Cary and just google maps from my house to the location and it said 2 hours and 20 minutes which obviously isn’t accounting for traffic. Raleigh and Durham are around 20 minutes away by highway from my house just to reach the city itself and usually around 30 to get anywhere notable.
lol I see debate about google maps, along with Jos i’ll never go above 5 mph over the speed limit and in general it’s never been too off for me, it’s usually within 15-30 minutes earlier or later than the suggested time depending on the time left and location overall.
Also if anyone from raleigh going to josiahs session, can i get a ride BACK home, i live on six forks

I’ve been feeling this way for awhile. The way I see it is that at $10 you can weed out who is serious about playing the game and its more of an incentive for players to step up their game. It also creates a focused community within the larger community for each game instead of people throwing $5 in for shits and giggles. At last EZ both T6 and MK had respectable numbers so if each game can maintain more than 10 entrants I don’t see why they shouldn’t get $10 per entrant.
Roski: as much as I am hyped to see you back in the organizer position, the likelihood of me being able to make these regularly will be slim to none. with my schedule I rarely get off before 6pm anyways. then being on call some nights and then having to be back at work early typically just screws me all up.

Since I will be with relatives in Wilmington again all of next week, I will make it out next Tuesday. If it’s fine I can bring my 360 w/ my 24" TN viewsonic and AE for casuals, if not I can bring some AV cables to just have an extra console. Also, I’m probably up for any gatherings that may occur down there next week as well.

There are plenty of people in Charlotte that hold sessions and even a guy who runs tournaments up there so just wait and see. I’m sure some of them will post up.
