I’m quite aware of that. Tournament standard rules have also been for Marvel to be on PS3, and it wasn’t until some days ago that I realized you guys were doing 360.
Converters at Tournaments for DC games even a few years ago weren’t uncommon. I’m not demanding that you cater to me, though.
I am buying a converter since CEO for whatever reason is running everything on 360 but it’s not going to be here by Saturday, which is why I was asking if anyone was planning on bringing one that I could BORROW. I don’t expect you guys to buy one and bring it just for me.
I’m not trying to make a huge deal out of things nor do I expect anyone to cater to me, but the simple fact is I’m not comfortable spending gas money and 3 1/2 hours of driving when I can’t play Marvel on something I’m comfortable with.
Ow ok, the way you worded it made it seem as if you expected us to supply you with a converter which would have been unreasonable. At most you can borrow one but the only players I know that have one are Julian and Jon.
A better way you could have worded it would have been “Does anyone have a PS3 to 360 converter that I can borrow for the tournament on Saturday?” That would have avoided all confusion.
I personally prefer the 360 pad. I use regular pad for marvel and a fight pad for ssf4. I’m actually looking to get a converter to play 360 pad on ps3 for Evo.
What kind of controller issues? I own both consoles and don’t really have any issue with either. Atleast you don’t have to worry about random pausing from a random ps3 wireless controller turning on. Which speaking of that I don’t know what the hell people are going to do who play pad t6 or pad mk since the thread says no wireless controllers period.
I say that wireless controllers could be allowed, but you are required to place your controller in front of the TV immediately after your match. That way, there’s no way you can accidentally hit the button. It’s not like we’ll have an over-abundance of controllers in front of TV’s either since very few people play on pad anyway.
Having a sync station could work too… but that could be one setup lost, that other people could use to help the tournament run faster.
Just so everyone knows I do plan on having my usual session Friday night with the exception that I’ll probably be shutting down the session a lil past midnight since I do need my beauty sleep for Saturday.
