Honestly I wasn’t holding any grudges about it but it did give me some insight into your character. My gatherings are limited for size though and I mostly want competitive players. If you show you’re doing good and can keep up with the competition, maybe I’ll let you come out

How’s that for motivation to practice?

Anyone in Raleigh playing games Friday night before the tournament? Gotta leave to go to VA that day, but I really wanna get in some Arcana / Tekken if I end up getting back to NC at a decent hour.

Also, I know Lingmassacre will be in the Raleigh area too (though he has no ride to the EZ tournament), just in case anyone wants some good out-of-state Tekken 6 action…

Tournament is in two days and we have a session tomorrow so that’s your last chance to practice and see the venue before the tournament. If you couldn’t get a day off from work then call in sick cause this obviously more important.

Don’t forget to bring in extra monitors, systems, games, controllers, etc. if you can. Sorry but we can’t offer an equipment incentive so if you bring something it will be out of courtesy. Obviously everyone should be bringing their own controllers, the main things we really need are systems and games. We have enough monitors for the tournament so any extra monitors that you bring in will more than likely go to casuals.

Won SSF4 and Forfeit Marvel cuz their rules were RETARDED and they didnt like rom loop/flight loop in to the corner then hyper grav loop, anywaaays ill be at EZ on saturday

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I’m going to Fayettenam**, and I haven’t heard shit about Lucky’s.
Also, the drive from Charlotte to Fayettenam isn’t really long, it’s just incredibly boring.

So whoever from Charlotte is interested in carpooling or joining the Charlotte team 5v5 in Marvel, hit me up.

**As long as there are 360 converters available to use.

Sup Charlotte, Fayetteville tourney this saturday? I can seat two people in my truck if anybody is needing a ride, or one person and a setup. Tactiks, good shit last weekend hosting the Game Reapers tourney. Everything ran smoothly, plus the owner wasn’t there wanting everybody to leave like last tourney.

Also, Deathsmiles II is out on XBL and its beast. 30 bucks for a shmup that is only out on consoles in japan definitely beats having to import the game from Japan and get a Japanese 360 to play it on. L.A. Noire is pretty nice so far too.

Anybody who knows me knows I don’t use stick.
And anybody who uses pad knows that there are no good 360 pads.

Which is why I’m asking if there will be 360 converters before driving an hour and a half to Fayetteville and not being able to play anything.

You mean like PS3 to 360 converters? I can’t think of a single tournament that has ever supplied converters like that. Only players I know who even own something like that are Julian and Jon. I think it would be unreasonable to expect a TO to supply something like that when the standard rules already require you to bring your own controller. At worse just borrow someone else’s.

I’ll make sure to post the link 50 times tomorrow.

Like I said before, what tournament supplies things like that? Very unreasonable to expect us to have that.
