I have found a job in Greensboro [I will work at Greensboro college] so I will be back in July, and shortly thereafter with a car. Have an interview with a place in Charlotte though tomorrow. I’d take the Charlotte job over the one in Greensboro if I get the offer.

Hey guys just wanted to let you know that I will be going to Georgia Tech in HOTlanta. I’m leaving mid-August. I’ll be seeing you guys at Final Round.

Right now its just for school but who knows, I might stay there to live. I **DO NOT **plan on coming back to NC for the summer though besides visiting family and friends. Moving back and forth for the summer would be too much of a pain.

Since everyone is talking about where they’re moving to I might as well come out and say that I’m joining the Navy and will be out of NC before the end of this year. With that said there isn’t a Navy branch in NC aside from recruiting so I’ll probably never live here again, but of course I’ll visit cause of my family.
To be honest I never really wanted to do college, I only did it because I felt like it was expected of me to do so. Despite me getting good grades my heart was never in it. After my first year I decided to leave for the military but my friends and family talked me out of it saying that it would be smart to complete college since I’m riding off of a scholarship anyways. After getting done with my second year of college I decided to leave for the military and wouldn’t let anyone talk me out of it cause it’s what I truly wanted to do over college. Of course with 2 years of college already completed I can definitely finish up my degree while serving.
I’ll know what day I’m leaving for sure in the next 1-2 weeks. So just add me to the count of players moving out of NC.
Summer 2012 will be my last few days in NC, my parents are moving and I’m going to law school in Virginia. So i really wont have any reason to visit NC anymore.
holy shit there are alot of NC ppl moving at once. did you guys all come together to form like a huge troll or something? because if you guys are i am falling for it and it deeply saddens me that we are losing fighting game players in NC.
With my new position at work, I am able to work from home. As a result, I will be moving back to Boston and working out of my home from there within the next 6 months. Not sure on an exact date yet.
I’ll probably be back to visit family once a year or so.
found kof 13 on the net and deciding to give it a shot, it will run on my laptop but just barely, certainly not playable with the speed/framerate i’m getting and i don’t see any way to adjust settings to increase speed.
ah well, from the little i can do i think the game looks absolutely gorgeous hi res, just wish i could actually play it. haven’t touched a kof game in almost 5 years i think.

CT: depending on what you end up doing in the Navy, there’s actually a lot of Navy guys stationed at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, however, I think most of them are corpsmen (hospital/medics)
Yeah I know but the rating offered to me was nuclear engineer which isn’t supported at Camp Lejeune to my knowledge. I do know that the main location for my schooling will probably be San Diego, CA so you may see me on a few streams if I have the time.

Well, I’ve been holding back on saying it too but I’ve actually got a QA position lined up at Capcom, so I’ll be leaving sometime next year after I finish gears of war 3. I’ll miss NC but I’m pretty excited about this and I’d absolutely LOVE to work for capcom.

Thanks! I made that cut a while ago. It’s got some obvious errors and some of the footage isn’t how I wanted it, and I meant to get around to improving it but then Marvel came out and I just never got back around to it! I was finally gonna clean it up now that AE’s out but I just lost the most recent version and all my footage to a hard drive failure I guess this version has to stand, but at least it shows all the important stuff well enough. Would love to see some other Gouken players start using it since I think the risk/reward is very justifiable and it’s cool as shit besides
