Apparently I can’t have a Yun party at my house tomorrow cause my Xbox is crapping out on me. Ever since that May system update my console has gone to shit.
- It takes around 5-10 minutes for it to boot up
- It has trouble connecting to XBL even on a wired connection
- It randomly freezes at the worst moments such as when it’s saving or loading
- Half the time I can’t even boot up a game without it getting stuck at a black screen
- Sometimes the RROD will pop up only to go away after I restart the console
- Worst of all my DLC (Jill/Shuma) are gone entirely
Sigh, I hope some more players bring systems to the next EZ session cause mine is just out of commission. Also if you planned on coming to my house tomorrow for an AE session then I’m sorry.
PMing the info. I have one large TV (small amount of lag), a lagless evo monitor, and 1 other monitor. If you wanna bring a CRT with a system though, you’re welcome to, although I dunno how necessary it’d be.
I usually get home around 5:30-6 so anytime 6 or later is good for me. Would be good to finally get to play Iason in person lol

I think I’ve pin pointed the problem, it seems to be my hard drive. As soon as I take it out my system and games can boot up immediately, of course though this means that I don’t have access to any of my data nor can I connect to XBL. When I put the hard drive back in it takes forever for my system and games to boot up, and connect to XBL. Then I start getting all the problems with my system freezing and what not.
if you put in a large thumb drive, are you able to transfer any of your stuff from your HD to the thumb drive? i’d try that, then disconnect the HD and try just using the thumbdrive to see if everything works as it should. i have my xbl profile and game saves on a thumb drive and works great, that way i can move between xboxes with just the thumbdrive and don’t have to worry about what saves are on what xbox.

You better hope its not just the hard drive, just call up xbox support and tell them you got the RROD and they will take it and fix it in about a months time. Ive also heard about people xboxs messing up with new update, and i was told that Microsoft will provide new consoles for people if they send in their old ones that are messing up.
So I was able to fix my Xbox and I was right when I thought it was my hard drive. All I did was move all of my data from my hard drive to an external hard drive then formatted my hard drive and then moved all the data back to it. Good thing I figured it out cause the alternative would have been to mail my Xbox to Microsoft and pay them $99 then get it back in a month.
Haha, I get these too sometimes. Last one that I had was a guy that was ranked a 1st Lord. He used Wesker, Zero & Sentinel and just spammed Sentinels assist while dashing and teleporting with Wesker & Zero. I wiped out his entire team with just Jill and left:
He message: "I wish I could have used my real team"
I write back: "I wish people would actually use some characters that aren’t Wesker, Zero, Dante, Wolverine, Sentinel & Taskmaster. They are all I fight and the game is getting bland."
He writes back: "I wish people wouldn’t puss out of rematches"
So I wrote something like: “Oh yeah, I pussed out, you sure showed me. How do you lose to Jill when you are whoring out some the best characters in the game and spamming easy mode gimmicks, and then complain about losing? You got my Gamertag, send me and invite and I’ll continue wrecking you and your gimmicky team. BTW, lemme guess, your real team has Dark Phoenix right? Don’t worry, I know exactly how to deal with her too chump.”
Yeah, he never wrote back or sent me the invite. That tier whoring scrub, I’m not even that good at Marvel.
Another guy I played had a crappy connection so I left after I beat him:
