Sounds good Jon and Jos. Just give me a holla if you need some directions.
Still trying to figure out how to send a PM -_- I do need directions though.
Seems like I’m going to EZ friday.
i think you click on the person’s name and “start a conversation”
Thanks!
Yeah, there’s a term for that skill. It’s called “being better.” And yeah, there’s a skill in avoiding comeback mechanics too. But you can’t guess right 100% of the time. You might destroy for 76 straight games and then get knocked down by random invincible move and the other guy gets a few lucky reads and takes a match. Happens to everybody.
Your posts confuse me sometimes. A good bit. Most of the time. Always.
Not sure if it’s on the way for you but if it is, you just wanna carpool? You’re welcome to come over beforehand and get a few matches in before we head over.
Oh yeah EZ is friday, not tomorrow btw.
What time are you planning on leaving? I’ll probably be leaving around 6.30 if I’m gonna go to your place first, 7 if I’m going straight there.
Doom are you running 360 or ps3?
Well he said he’s gonna start at 8, it’s about 20 minutes from my place or so. I can start at my place whenever after 5:30.
Ok I’ll be at your place around 7 then, get out of work at 6.
I run on a PS3. Borrowed a buddies 360 a while back to play his Rock Band and it RROD’d on me. Managed to save it thank god but that put me over the edge in terms of what system I was going to buy. I do have sticks here and a pad if you’re a pad player, although if you do have your own stick or pad it wouldn’t hurt to bring it.
I see that Lucky’s is running their tourney with PS3s. Thats good on my end and I’m very much looking foward to it, but is it possible to have some uniform system for NC tourneys. Kinda of a pain in general to train on different systems every other month.
I live in Knightdale, which is a little ways outside of Raleigh. Basically, New Bern Ave when it shifts into Knightdale Blvd. I understand if its too much of a pain in the ass to get me.
…
did you read the part on how i dont really give a shit about this and i was saying i beat him a few times? this isnt a big deal but you are stirring it up -_-. I played a lotta games, I won a few with my main, got bored of my main and switched to makoto and lost a few times, then I went home because I had to. I didn’t expect a perfect from the guy because I literally could not even name him before that day. To me he was “random black streetfighter guy who is good” not “scary pro guy”. I just wanted to play super for the second time in like a few months. Again, won some games vs a dude who had been playing longer, I surprised myself, I was happy, the end. It wasn’t even a contest as far as I know.
Tournament next week on saturday, same venue, side games are tentatively 3s and windjammers, what else would you like to see? Main event is Marvel 3. We’ll get the tv’s/xboxes/software. All crt so no screen lag. I got this week and all next to get my shit together for this.
G-Vegas Beatdown 6 is official over 3000 square feet and 12 hours for as many games as we can handle!!!
i think some of you guys must be changing your font colors or something, but if you’re using the SRK Dark layout (like me), this barely shows up. it was actually funny looking since it seemed like an important announcement
it is standard font i am just on a white background. anyone else having trouble seeing it?
I’m on all the standard settings with the white background and nothing looks to have changed.
What all changed with the new forums? All i know is that it’s more intuitive but i don’t know what all has been improved… and that some threads got deleted
Hey, mvc3 player from Raleigh tired of online and playing the same friends over and over (not really, but a variety of enemies is always nice). I assume you guys play all of the main games (SSF4, blaz, mvc3?). How many people usually show up at a session? Would it still be cool if I stuck to mvc3, as I haven’t played the others (SF2 skillz probably wouldn’t’ mean much in SSF4), or does everyone pretty much switch to other games and leave the previous one behind? I’d be fine with learning SSF4, but it seems like a bad time to get into it with AE on the way and it being so figured out. I guess a lot of my questions are session-specific. The one in Raleigh on Sundays seems like the best bet for my schedule right now.
Yeah I can’t see it either. There have been quite a few posts that I can’t read because I’m rocking the dark background. I always have to highlight your posts with my mouse so I can decipher your code… err I mean read your posts. Not your fault though. Its just that if most people are using the default I don’t understand why some of your fonts come in black and other in white.
Also on another note, WHY DOES JOE HAVE TO HAVE THE HARDEST DHC GLITCH IN THE GAME. I could be doing 1,200,000 combos like everyone else if I could do it more consistently. sigh. I still think Joe with Ironman assist is pretty retarded.
