I won’t be at EZ on Saturday but I’ll be back on Sunday. I’m just so burned out on fighting games in general right now. I probably won’t appear at any session or tournament outside of the EZ tournament on the 20th for the entire span on August. If I show up to anything it will probably be a last minute decision.
You could hear them over the loud speaker warning about DQs during the justin/mago followed by diago/valle matches, and it makes sense that everyone was watching that and just said “forget my match, I’m watching this”. I wonder if they actually DQ’d people for skipping their matches to watch it.

I’m actually bored watching wolverine and phoenix vs capcom on stream … i watched AE yesterday almost non stop but def can’t do the same with marvel, I’m gonna tune back in later on tonight.

streams have been very entertaining so far but nothing tops the 8 year old kid getting wins with the crowd behind him, looks like a lot of fun there.

It’s supposed to be good in the Viper matchup, prevents abuse of Burning Kick.
Ultra 1 does the same thing, doesn’t deal with cross up burn kicks so easily, but you could do it through seismos if your reactions aren’t ass. You could also c.mk under the burn kicks. 
sean you cannot react to viper’s seismos. also I dont think ultra 1 vs flame kicks are very good either considering the angles that most viper players are going to be aiming for. Ultra 2 is much better in that match up imo.
Why not? They aren’t fast, if that’s what you’re thinking (minus EX, and even that one…). I’m more scared of fei’s U1 than I am of his U2, but to each his own I guess. :bluu: If you’re talking about feints, then it makes it a little harder I guess, but not by much.
I don’t think it pays to try to react to seismos because Viper could just as easily feint them. reacting to actual seismo vs feint would be pretty hard I think
lol Just edited my post then read this. Naah, it’s not, or maybe because I’ve played against a lot of Viper, but it’s not too hard to tell the difference. There’s a time when it’ll be too late for her to feint, that’s when you’d react with whatever. I really didn’t think about it, but I bet being on that stage is nerve-racking.
Fei U2 makes Viper be honest with her oki. She can’t BK at all, she has to be more careful about doing crossups, etc…U2 is easily the ultra to pick in the Viper match for Fei; his U1 is ass.
If you’re fighting Viper and your plan is to react to a seismo, then you’re going to get baited by a feint and fucked up.

Nah but you can’t do it. It LOOKS like you can, but you can’t really try to react to it until you see her hand start to punch, but by the time you can see that it’s too late.

Roski’s NCBC is coming up… I guess, lately he’s been putting up the darn fb page THE DAY OF, which doesn’t allow for much planning and it’s been having bad turnout because of such. Hoping for 3s.
And yeah, unless we have some magical person come out of nowhere and beat him, Daigo will most likely be in the top eight.
Btw, will the 3s event be streamed at all? any guilty gear? Tekken? BlazBlue? All I’ seeing are Super SF4: LETS MAKE YET ANOTHER EDITION, marvel 3, and mk. I really dislike how ono thinks we’re gonna pay money for another set of rebalance tweaks… (So basically super with the twins… which is what he should have done to begin with and kept the pretty little presesnts he gave to all the lacking characters instead of basically taking characters that were good and trashing them- see ae guile.)
