Morrigan buffs are great. I may put her back on the main team again. Let me know if you current morrigan players would like to talk shop sometime through pm or whatever. I still play her and may have some tricks you don’t know about. Storm losing float + call assist sucks but is probably fair. Overall, I’m excited about new marvel.

I’m going to slow down my gaming for the month of August. In the past few months I’ve traveled to countless sessions and tournament, and I’m starting to burn myself out so I need a break. I’ll still make it to Fayetteville sessions such as Sal on Thursdays and Elite Zone on Fridays, but I’m not going to travel to any sessions and I’m not going to any tournaments until Elite Zone on the 20th. By that time I’ll get back into my regular routine again of constant traveling.

Like I said, MAJOR balance changes and a bunch of new characters. Console KOF13 is basically going to be a completely new (BETTER) version than the arcade.
I guess that’s SNKP’s way of apologizing for KOF12. You know, unlike Capcom, instead of releasing a half-assed, broken crappy version of the game and THEN charging a fixed version later, they took their time so you get a good complete version the FIRST time.
Also thank GOD that 98’ Iori is going to be a DLC character instead of somebody I would actually care to spend money for.

From what I’ve read so far of the KOF changes, there are a large number of small tweaks. The only top character who sounded really nerfed so far is Raiden, due to massive increase in Dropkick charge times and inability to follow up level 3 Dropkick midscreen. All Shen seems to have gotten is a slight damage decrease (and from the sound of it, it’s pretty slight), and his fully charged Gekiken only removes half of the guard bar, instead of instantly guard breaking. K’ actually received a buff, which is conceptually ridiculous. I can’t see any reason that character deserves any buffs.
In any case, only time will tell. It’s a bit early to say that the game is going to be better than the arcade. No telling what other broke stuff may show up, especially with new characters on the way.
Would anyone be interested in a NC SRK fanatasy football league if I started one? Would need at least 11 other people besides myself for a decent league, one of my leagues isn’t returning this year so I’ve got room for another.
