Final Round has pretty much always been very strict about button binds. They let the GG players get away with it because it was almost universally agreed upon that no one minded if the pad players had an RC button. I don’t think Larry will let shit slide for SF4 though.

All capcom 2d fighters, Tekken6, and all snk fighters

(THAT MEANS IF YOU RESET YOUR BUTTONS YOU MUST PUT THE DEFAULT MULTI-BUTTONS ON BLANK!!!) So that mean you won’t have your 3xkick button, or 3xpunch button. This applies to snk games also. Any default presets that are NOT like the arcade set up are not allowed. If you don’t have a 3x punch or kick button in the arcade then you won’t use it at FRX! We are trying to make it as close to arcade type tournament as possible and NO button mapping the traditional way to play capcom and snk games IMO. I don’t care where you put them on your controler/joystick but you should only have the following buttons input’s for the following games:

Capcom games that are on consoles will have only 6 button inputs allowed on your controller/joystick and they are:

1. Jab punch=light punch
2. Strong punch=medium punch
3. Fierce punch=hard punch
4. Short kick=light kick
5. forward kick=medium kick
6. roundhouse kick=hard punch

Having one button that takes the place of 3 buttons is, by definition, cheating. If capcom wanted ultras to be done with one button, then they would have made that the command. GG lets it slide, but it’s still the same way.

Played SFIV today. Can’t say I liked it. I did like El Fuerte. I like the feel of that character, but I don’t like the feel of the game overall.

It’s not a bad game. Great system. It’s just not for me.

If you’re playing on PSN, don’t let the low-bar-count connection fool you when you’re search for a match, shit makes no sense; it might not be as good as the one that has high-bar but still pretty good during a match. I raped and got beat 19/2 times. Most of them were noobs, one guy name elfather something is a fucking cocksucka, he dipped out when Vega(Bison) was about imprint some ridges on his face with the bottom of his boots. Caused me 50 some battle points, damn! If you want to boost up your level, search a match that only set to one round…

TvC looks like a fun game to me and I wouldn’t mind being able to be competitive with it… but I don’t have any passion for the system so I’m real indifferent about picking it up.

Dumping Akuma for Rose. Rose is just better at Honda’s bad matchups.

Honda definitely isn’t a scrub character anymore- knowing when to use his moves is massive now. They overnerfed his hands though. I still feel like I should pick someone else up though.

As for bars

3 bar is 99% good on XBL. 4 bar+ is 100% good. 2 bar is like 33% good.
Just like VF5. I can’t complain.
