Wutsup everybody! Kevin B. here aka “KBeast” aka “That guy who uses Yatterman-1 and Batsu”
The purpose of this thread is to call out to all the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom players that reside in NorCal. I am planning to have casuals to prep for Evo and possibly run a tourney before the event. It won’t stop there, I’ll continue to hold gatherings as long as I have people interested. There are many NorCal TvC players around but nobody has really stepped up yet to get the scene going. So here is that calling, let’s get on some TvC! Post if you’re interested so we could get things crackin! Kill all da Akrid!!!
Hopefully some of you guys watched the Devastation stream and saw matches like Marn vs Kbeast. Kbeast is making an effort to show that this game is fun and lives up to the vs title it holds. Those in NorCal that are practicing this game should get in casuals so you have more experience against other players and playstyles. Practice helps both those who are new and those who are seasoned at this game. Plus, this scene is legit. Though small, I had a great time traveling from NorCal to SoCal for a tournament with Kbeast and Magno where we cleaned house.
Yes Norcal needs a TvC scene that can rival the one in Socal. They have such a close-knit group that can practice against each other regularly which probably exponentially increases their abilities, although that obviously didn’t matter when K beast, Phampy, and I drove down ;). I want something like that up here. If anyone lives in San Francisco I’ll bike to your place or you can chill at my pad and we can have some casuals or even a good training session.
Come on guys. Let’s do our part to show that this game has legs. There are so many viable play styles at an advanced level and I don’t care what anyone says but Mega Crash and Baroque allow for some of the most clutch matches in any fighting game.
This game deserves better attention. It’s a masterpiece.
Ive got much respect for my fellow 707 team mate Kevin. Watching his recent performances at tourneys has got me re-inspired to play this game. I’ve always thought it was good, just never got a chance to actually sit down and figure it out. But I have every reason too now considering that 1 of the top players in America lives right down the street (and im not talking about you Kevin) HAHA!
LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN FOLKS! FUCK ALL THE AKRID! AKRID CAN EAT A DICK!
Get your ass to Tyram’s house tonight! Ramnation is in full effect!
We gonna have SSF4, Marvel, and TvC, and for some reason Ram mentioned that mutha-fuckin NGBC!
Let’s get this madness started!
looks like we will now have TvC at Munchies! For those of you who don’t know we have Weekly SF4 tourneys at this cool coffee shop called Munchies! All I have to do is teach Rudy how to use Polimar…red bastard…volcano stage…
 I love TvC and hopefully I can find some people to play against. I don’t think I’m that good since I haven’t played many people but I’d definitely like to play some people and get better.
Unfortunately fairfeild is too far for me at the moment since that’d be out of my tow zone if my car breaks down which is a very high chance since my car isn’t doing so well right now
Finally found this shit, Yo Beast I’ll let you know what’s going down schedule wise within in this week since EVO is practically fucking here. You need to get back at me quicker though bro. For all of yall that have transportation issues I’m willing to vouch myself as a ride for anyone that needs one whether it would be a basic training session day or a tournament, I will be busy but don’t be shy to get at me. Besides gents there is literally no excuse what so ever about anyone I repeat anyone that plans on partaking towards MVC3 when it comes out. It’s damn near the exact same engine as TVC just evolved even though there only on the Beta sequences. But back to the point let’s get this shit live for the time being until MVC3 does come out.
P.S. Does anyone have an extra Wii stick they can lend out or any joysticks that are system compatible with playing TVC? I’m rocking the Gamecube controller right now and I just want to give the joystick a test drive to see how it feels just in case I might want to switch styles at the very last second. I need to get my Blade back into shape!:bluu:
