I’m down for NCR weekend friday night session at game center and saturday ratio tourney at domain hotel.
who’s gonna bring xbox and sticks? I have one working xbox TE with LS32 which nobody likes. The JLF’s TE pcb is fubar, not gonna buy madcatz again.

Since we can run a side tourney on xbox at ncr I propose we have a ratio tourney. They’re doing it in socal as an official st games tourney. It’s really well balanced and very fun. I think this tournament format has a lot of potential.
I’m in for both. And I can bring my xbox te stick for people to use.

I’ll be at NCR Friday gaming it up and partying, but I can make Saturday at NCR to game with y’all. I have my custom that will work on X360 and the Supergun if you end up bringing it.
Since quite a few of you are staying at domain or near domain hotel, if anyone of you can host casuals on friday night at domain hotel room, we could bring xbox/supergun/sticks to play there instead.

That’s exactly what I was proposed earlier, although I don’t know any one of us that has booked a room other than El Trouble/Miller Time.
I don’t want to impose upon him, especially that he’s bringing Miller Time, but that’s completely up to what they want to happen.
If they don’t want us in their room at all, it’s their room to do with as they please.
The drive to Game Center is about 30 minutes, which might be hard for El Trouble. He might want to visit Game Center to see what it’s about anyway.

Hey guys! Finally locked down the hotel details. Millertime, myself, and Muffin Man will be coming to NorCal during NCR weekend. We should be in town by Friday late-afternoon and stay until Sunday afternoon. We’re staying here:

It’s about half a mile away from NCR. So what’s the plan for the weekend? Are we still going to Gamecenter on Friday night, or are we playing casuals at the hotel room? You guys are more than welcome to come to our hotel room to hang out. On Saturday, we’ll be going to NCR for casuals. I’m bringing 1 dual-mod stick, and 1 ps3 stick.
We’re all looking forward to hanging out with you guys up north. See you boys in a week.
I’m staying at Domain but some of my friends are staying at Wild Palms so I’ll be spending time at both spots. I figure we can do casuals wherever tho. Gamecenter is also an option for us provided there are places my crew could hang out near there. Any good bars in that area?

ok, it’s kinda messy but here’s the situation
bernie, there are like 30 restaurants and 2-3 bars within walking distance of game center.
friday game plan:
mizuki / thrust - stay at domain only.
bernie / eltrouble / muffin - can either go to game center or stay at domain hotel
me / geo / darkness - flexible
game center - h2h cab w/ optionally a supergun, good restaurants / drinks / mid night desert but 45 minutes drive and fewer people can attend
domain hotel - bernie has to spend time at different places, so it’s not like we can play all night in his room.
more people can attend but only one setup. food within walking distance aint that good. however i can opt to bring my supergun and you guys can help me move a CRT. if bernie is ok i can leave the crt/supergun at his room and we can easily move the whole setup downstair so we can play on supergun all day sat, otherwise i will most likely not able to bring the supergun on sat since there will not be parking space and tons of people will be blocking the way.
so it seems like either
fri fewer people at game center w/ arcade st + sat ps3 hdr/classic mode
or
fri supergun at domain hotel but only limited play time + sat supergun
(PS3 since no one has volunteer to bring a xbox)

i know fudd can’t attend because of mid term. what about ultracombo and vestax and others?
Hell yeah bring the supergun. That would be great. I can hold onto it in my room and even bring a few more boards if you want to play anything else along with ST.
I’d bring my supergun, but I don’t think I’ll have room for it in the car. I’ll see if I can play Tetris and squeeze it in, but don’t count on it.
I’m totally down to play Alpha2. I’m not great at it, but it’s a really fun game. Very footsie-oriented.

Of course I’m going polpatsi. I say we meet at gamecenter for a nice authentic ST arcade session. But that’s just me. I can go to domain as well if you guys would rather do that.
I can bring Alpha 2 for sure plus probably another board or 2, whatever fits in my bag. I’m still down for gamecenter but that all depends on my ride so I can’t guarantee anything.
