that stick is only used during the 2 NCR’s, it’s definitely not worn out. the ls32’s throw is much shorter, i guess that’s why you think it’s a circle gate.

you actually asked myung to change the cab to turbo 3 which i don’t think anyone mind for casual.
however, that is not gonna be the speed used at EVO or other qualifiers.
when you get used to the timing online or playing on console, the timing will be different on the actual arcade since there is no lag, which will mess up your safe jump timing.
but i can’t blame anyone since you can’t practice arcade timing at home. but yeah.
Make sure that we play on Free Select 2 on Saturday.

but like fudd said to keep it consistent with EVO finals, during the qualifier we should use US turbo 2.
we can change it back to turbo 3 for casuals if you like it faster.

Yes I agree with the gate on the ls32 feeling more circular than others I’ve played on. My preference would be to use the cab or use mizuki’s or papasi’s other te stick. And it’s great that we actually have a choice on what to play on. Also yeah, I had forgotten that that was why were playing on turbo 3 rather than 2, we can all blame darkness!

Hey. I’m heading to NCR with some Vegas people. My only real purpose for this trip is to hang out in Nor Cal since I’ve never been before but I wouldn’t mind getting some ST in also. Is there anything happening at or around NCR weekend for ST? Is that when the ST Games qualifier will be?

bernie, we used to have ST side tourney at NCR, but kineda said no last year because of the venue and this year NCR added a lot more games than previous years and choi also said no side tourney.

When are you arriving? We have irregular monthly ST/dinner gatherings at game center arcade, usually Friday starting at 6pm.
I think most of the FGC folks will be hanging out at NCR that weekend.
My girlfriend and I are making arrangements to make it out to NCR this year. She’ll be going to actually compete in these newfangled games, but I couldn’t care less, I just want to meet up with the NorCal crew and get in some ST action.

That 10 cents setup sounds amazing. Only game I would have been interested in for NCR would be KOF 13 but I’m not gonna bother if I can play ST elsewhere instead. How far away is Gamecenter from where NCR will be?
