Fuck that Paul West bitch. He kicks me out for smelling like weed, then tries to not give me my money back. I only got to play 1 match of 3s & MvC2. Fuck that. I’ve been to tournes up & down nor cal blazed as hell & not one manager, employee, tournamnet organizer or fellow player has ever had a problem with that; that guy is a sad 30-yr-old dick. I could understand getting kicked out if i was selling or smoking it on the property, but i didn’t. He fucking CALLED THE COPS because I SMELLED of pot. Shit, it isn’t even illegal to smell like it. The ONLY reason that punk bitch didn’t get knock the fuck out is because i didn’t want to be the reason he pulls the plug on the games & NCR gets canceled, & he would of too because he’s a dick like that.
No disrespect to the MGL crew, but that guy makes tourneys there garbage. The tourney before that he almost kicked mikey out for standing next to me while i was playing cause he was “too close” to the machine. :wtf: He’s a Nazi simply put. Even the main owner guy who hardly speaks english didn’t really care about it. He was cool, he made that fag give me my money back.
Next NCR should definitely be held somewhere else. SVGL cramped space is hella better than having that guy in charge of the tournaments.

i think that there needs to be more tolerance from the mgl management. i have gotten numerous complaints about them. the thing is, our most strict assistant manager has caught people smoking weed and just tells them to stop. if they want to spend their money they can.
i dont know why someone would be kicked out for smelling like weed.
but i also think that the players shouldnt complain and try to work within the system. dont go to golfland right after smelling like weed. im sure if you follow all of the rules the guy wont have anything to complain about.
this paul guy has worked for golfland for a LONG time and id be surprised if he made over 15 bucks an hour. he probably needs to throw some authority around to make up for it. give him a break

I’m not a fan of the bud…seeing as how I’ve never tried it…but I don’t think just going on smell alone is reason to boot someone…ESPECIALLY top tournament players. I mean…plenty of gamers have a 4th or even a 5th assist…they don’t get booted for smelling like ass…
I don’t know…I won’t say that it’s okay to blaze where there are families and shit like that…but I think the players should be left alone until someone actually complains. I mean, hella people smoke cigarettes, and no one says shit to them. I’ve gone into SVGL intoxicated a few times…and I’m sure I smelled of it…but no one said anything to me.
I will say that Paul takes his job a little too seriously…like I know he’s looking out for the company he works for, but I don’t think the “threat” is as big as he makes it out to be. I guess we have to accept the fact that he comes along with the territory. I’ll still make it out to MGL events, and hopefully things like this won’t stop people from attending future events.

“Hella” late props but…AWSOME TOURNEY despite that fact that me and Anthony only got 2 hrs of sleep before the singles tourney on Saturday. Good times, good times…It’s also great to meet new faces. I have some CvS2 footage already captured onto my computer, ready to upload. The only problem is I hate uploading to those free file hosting sites (megauploads, rapidshare, yousendit…) because they get taken down after a couple of days so if anyone can help me with that, I would appreciate it. I’ll post the links here once I get them up.

Haha…MGL shouldn’t have to tolerate any illegal activity. They’re a business that primarily deals with families. Telling people to stop is useless, they’ll still have the drugs on them, you think some guys gonna toss is budd away? Let’s not mention the legal responsibilities the facility has. They have every right to kick people out for smoking weed or those around them if they smell like weed because its private property aka, their house, their rules. If families start getting word that MGL is rampant with dumb kids that are under the influence and even worse, DOING drugs in the facility, they will lose money, flat out.

I think if players want to hit the chronic and attend a MGL event try not to smell like it or do it on the property. A good tip is to wash your hands really well cause damn when hitting that shit out of a blunt/joint/pipe the smell hella stays on your fingers. Also try not to hot box your car (hot boxin is da shit) it’s not a great idea before heading to MGL.
One more thing, if the cops asked you if you’re high…how would you respond?
Don’t let people know your high and don’t give them any reason to asume your high. Better yet just avoid the whole sitiuation all together and leave Mary at home or tell that bitch to wait in the car.
