SFSU is having a 3s 2v2 tournment on the Dec 16th. Sign-up starts @ 3, tournament starts @ 3:30 sharp. Each team must have different character, each team may not use the same character.
Is not my rule, but is the rule tats made by the guy who running the 3s tournament.

hell no you shouldn’t charge for a dvd, especially not 25 bucks unless you can justifyhat price and show us that money is going towards something we all care about.
AND, ncr will have the pleasure of Mr. Bean, Eugene, Sir Phobos, and myself. We’ll be leaving around noon and might have someone sign us up for the team tournament in advance on friday night so everyone be ready.

I was trying to be as realistic as possible. Dvd creation is a lot of work and if you compare to other efforts, for 4 discs the dvd price is actually not that bad. Anyway, this should be resolved with splitting up the dvd into four parts. Plus, Norcal players are going to get a discount on the whole thing. Probably free shipping or something.
man, fuck this dvd shit. ncr vids have ALWAYS been free. always, always, always! you guy’s can do WHATEVER you want with your footage. but making profit off another tourney is kinda whack… like what if i went to a 707 tourney, recorded it all, then sold it out of the trunk of chunk’s car (‘cause i don’t have a car) playing cassidy - i’mma hustla, makin’ all that cake, and then go spend it to make our shitty salinas arcade crazy better? don’t really sound right, indeed. if anything, the cake should go to mgl 'cause that’s where it’s being held at.
now, don’t get it twizzzzzzled. i’m not saying i want any of the share. i just want ALL vids to be free in general unless it’s like a national tournament. i know i personally wont buy a dvd unless it’s from like EVO/ECC/SBO/Cock Fights/Bum Fights, whichever.

This is not really about the money. Many other regions have a dvd, so we thought why not Norcal?
Haha…go ahead I’d say. If it puts 707 on the map or makes people more aware of what we’re about. If we didn’t do anything ourselves, then something is a lot better than nothing. That’s what the NCR dvd would be about for us. Plus, I’ve always had ideas that I wanted to see on a fighting game dvd, so this would be a great way to get them out.
I think everyone loves free match videos; a lot of people probably wouldn’t be in the community without them. Wouldn’t it be nice to have something more though? Something like that is only possible on dvd.
You said this isn’t a respect thing, right? Because me and the rest of 707 has nothing but the upmost respect for Norcal and its players. What about credibility? I hope we haven’t done anything, but convey that we support this community.
I’ve personally been to every NCR because I’m proud of this community and what we’re about. I don’t think any of us would want to do this if we didn’t have majority support with the players. There was a try at a dvd a couple years ago, so we thought that meant people might be interested.
Awwwww, all this NorCal pryde and repect hella made me give in. 'Cause to me, it’s all about NorCali. And if this will indeed finally put us on the map, then fuck yeah, I’m down.
To me, it’s just I for one am not down with selling Tournament Footage. I never was down with it and I hate on it a alot. With me being one of people who organized this tourney and etc etc, it makes me look like a hypocrite, yadadamean!? =[

Unfortunetly we’re only going to be there for singles. If anyone wants some footage to be on the dvd, give it to us that day or whenever you pass by 707 tilt. If fact, if you any have random Norcal footage that might be entertaining, it might make it on.
I’ll see what I can do but I doubt it. Commander Mgl is strict when it comes with Golfland policies.
Well, even if the dvd thing doesnt go through ill still throw up al of the vids that I get on cam at NCR. it will probably be more cvs2 then anything else, but at least there will be soem footage. my friend Preppy is gonna hook it up with some web space to host my vids. I was at MGL tonight for a while and the setup is lookin good with two cabs per game lined up right next to each other in the Golf arcade while all others were set on the opposite wall, even blocking the quick restroom entrance.
