Hey i saw some video on youtube, and I see him shooting his gun to his leg and launching up. I tried all the move on the command list and cant figure it out. Any help is appreciated
So I was messing around with Noel’s 5D > 6C > 214A > 2B > 6C > JB > JC(3) > 236C combo in training mode. Its about 3700ish damage I believe. But instead of finishing with a 236C and just hitting with C once and going into Air Throw I’m getting around 4100 damage.
I think I’m going to stick with just tacking the air throw on instead of continuing with the rest of the combo unless I see a reason otherwise.
You can only do the 22B/C moves if they’re were or are currently in a OTG state. Best examples would be:
Airthrow>2B>6C>22C
Back throw>214A>2B>6C>22C
6B>3C>22C
Edit:
Well you know that when you do (air)throw in hitstun they’re easier to break so don’t be surprised if you have people breaking it. It’s better to go for the airstring into 236C for guaranteed damage over the possibility of missing out on it.
I’ve picked her up and she is the most fun I’ve had in this game. I made my friends who aren’t very good cry because I’ve decided to main her. They wanted to also main her because they’re giant Equilibrium fans. Don’t get me wrong, gun-katas are cool, but I just like her play-style in comparison to everyone else and so far I’m pretty rape among our group of six with her.
And the beret is reminiscent of Jill :D. <3 Resident Evil
Hey, question on her 6C->BC->6C loop. I know that you can repeat this like 5 times if you can time a dash after the BC correctly, but I can’t for the life of me do it. I can only get out three reps before they fall outta place.
Every time I do the dash, the dummy techs outta it before I can 6C. It’s getting quite frustrating actually. Been at it for a good hour without success.
Also, I heard that there’s also a loop involving 22C that’s character specific?
Personally, i’ve only ran into 4 Noels out of 80 some odd matches and only two spam D. When you get above rank 10/15 you no longer see them anymore i think. Spamming Jin’s and Ragna’s on the otherhand are everywhere.
just practice for the 6c throw loops i guess. I practiced for a little while and im getting it pretty good. aslong as you can do like 3-4 consistently it seems like it should be enough to get max dmg on the combos.
midscreen 22c loops on the other hand are really hard to get before people can tech roll. cant think of a way to get both inputs at once since df is used for moves in this game.
Okay I got most of the combos down. My question for Noel players on here is that what are some good ways to approach, either to start your combo strings, counter, or so forth. I’m having trouble with certain characters on approaching in
Haven’t fought that many Jin’s/Ragna’s but I always the odd ones with my own.
Anyways, I’m attempting to learn Noel as a secondary character and while I can do her BNB’s with a 80% accuracy I’m not really sure how to go about playing her. Can’t seem to get the setup into the combos unless I spam A for hit confirms into 6A. How often do you mix it up with her Drive attacks if at all? Looks like high level play only uses the Drive as part of her BNB’s but outside of that it doesn’t appear to be used for setups or as means to deal damage. Would have thought the Drive would have been more useful outside of combos. The 2D looked good as a quick overhide but can’t combo that outside of Rapid Cancelling it, which seems stupid to do. I’m at a loss with her as I can’t really figure out her pacing.
Well the one thing you need to know about Noel is that she really can’t do her main combos unless they’re crouching and you can only combo into her 3C (her main combo filler) if they’re in a crouching state. You can force that by hitting them with 6B which is her overhead. Once you land her 3C you want to cancel that into 22C and then you can go into her combs.
You’re right in that her drive isn’t really used outside of combs, but you can do her 214D ( while in drive ) for her assault through which forces your opponent to block the other way if spaced right. You can also run her J.D which is pretty good IMO and once you land immediately cancel into her flash kick 28D if you think they’re gonna poke out. Lastly you can combo from her 2D, but they have to be crouching and/or a counter hit state.
