any strats on playin against Rachel? im having a hard time getting in shes dirty!!
i don’t have all the facts but there is some things you can do…
1.fighting 6A- there is couple of ways to beat 6A
1. you can j.D to propel yourself above her 6A.. which will connect into a free spring raid
into combo
2. you can slide underneath it with 3C, which leads to 22C loop combos.. by far her most
damaging combos
3. you can 5a her out... which leads to 6A into 6C loop into drive loop lol
although the first 2 are pretty risky… the reason is you have to anticipate… know when she’ll throw out… alot of time she’ll throw it out when your in air for obvious reasons… so anticipate it then punish it…

Watch for pumpkin… always know where pumpkin is at all times… if it’s out… if it’s not out… then it’s your best time to rush her down… becuase with pumpkin out she controls the playing field rather nicely

you can go past cannons with 5D’s if anitcipated or 3C

i found myself using 5C in this match since alot of her pokes seem pretty bad… it’s worked for me rather nicely for a poke… and leads to her most damaging stuff…

keep the pressure on… 5a pressure works rather nicely… just be wary of ib chairs or when you start staggering your strings… anticipate chair then punish according either with 3C or 6A
there’s not much she can setup if she’s always getting pressure… guardbreak will draw near… when she’s about to guardbroken watch for counter assualt… easy ways of beating it are 2D or 3C
pretty much in summary… when you get close… don’t let her get breathing room…don’t let her get setups she needs to lock you down (aka frog/ pumpkin) … if you happen to be on the other end… watch for the overheads… in the cases i fought… i usually block high and watch the low… becuase her damage potential off j.2C is much higher than her 3C

Screwing around in training mode, I found Noel can chain into her Astral from her drive 6C (so D->6C->Astral is a reliable way to do it on everyone, assuming you can hit them with a raw D.) This means that on Jin, if he is at 45% or less, you can do D->C->6C->C->6C->Astral to kill him from a relatively high starting point life-wise. Amusingly, this does not work in the corner, as the hitbox of the Astral starts about a character length or two in front of Noel. The vacuuming from the 6C sucks Jin too close to Noel for the Astral to hit, and he ends up sliding all the way through her and onwards to her other side.
0 frames AFAIK. She just goes OVER a buncha stuff, but high hitting moves and airthrows hit her out of it.
Is it just me or everyone picks everyone else but noel?

I think I get this… Out of all the matches I’ve been in I’ve only fought Noel twice and I kicked her butt thoroughly, even a D-spammer. I fight a lot of Ragnas, Jins, Rachel a bit, and sometimes Hakumen (who is a royal pain, btw). For all the people viewing the Noel threads you’d think there would be more players.
I think 6C loops are too hard for nubs. They realize D-Spamming isn’t as effective as the random fierce shoryuken.
Hey I’m having trouble with tager, what do I do?

Keep moving, if there’s anything you can do against Tager its that. I believe you can catch him on j.D and shoot off Optic Barrels too. Just be careful you don’t get negative warnings though.
The only ways i find it easy to open on an opponent is 3C or j.d over their head. Any other good ways to get in on an opponent.
are there any good block strings to set people up for her command grab?
also, does that grab only work on standing characters?
what’s the most damaging combo?
