I remember reading somewhere this game was planned to have over 50 boss fights, which is just huge. I guess most of them won’t be as big as the previous game though.
Very much looking forward to this though, I loved the first game.
This part of the interview is very interesting
I wonder if he already has plans for a PS360 game or something?
Yeah, Suda51 said that in the recent EDGE article. That’s pretty much my only concern about the game so far - the main thing that made the first game so amazing was that all the bosses had their own awesome personality and special abilities, so I have a hard time picturing the bosses of this game being anywhere near as memorable. Suda51 is frickin’ amazing though, so who knows. :bgrin:
Considering what Suda’s been doing with the NMH on the Wii the only system I can see this translating well over too is PS3’s wand. I still say Natal has to prove itself and get the bugs out it first. And I honestly can’t see anyone actually standing up all day and doing motions with Natal to do different attacks and what not on NMH. How is the camera going to tell the difference between you telling Travis to turn around vs. you attacking any enemies? This is only if he’s still planning to use motion controls…honestly NMH would translate pretty well to a normal controller since some of the attacks were just gesture based. It’ll be interesting to see what Suda can come up with.
I’m guessing that there will be a moment or moments where Travis tears through like a dozen or two dozen in one boss stage or a number of them get killed off screen. Either way, I don’t see it being a 50 one on one fights.
As for the report on NMH2 being the last on Wii. Eh.
I love Suda but he has to see how insane developing a game on the Natal would be outside of the same mini game collections that plague the Wii. Personally, I think he got some money thrown his way by Microsoft or simply wants the more “core” userbase on the 360 or PS3. Because seriously the Natal while interesting is impossible to translate into a decent stylish action game.
nice…kinda disappointed that he wasn’t able to get his wii motion plus idea to work but that’s fine the game will still be awesome regardless. The game being able to use the classic controller through it’s play seems be in league with the sequal possibly showing up on a different console in the future I believe.
I was so excited when I heard that my favorite game for the wii would be receiving a sequel last year. The more I hear fresh news, the more pumped I get! The Schoolgirl with the Flute/Darth Maul beam katana is awesome! I am also looking forward to playing as Henry and Shinobu
So I take it both of them lived after the freeze frame “Real” ending of the first game?
and why the hell does Sylvia have a child named Jean?
