Suda: Its the very end. If I had to say one word, Id say its at the very end of production.

1UP: Youre working on a game with Shinji Mikami and EA. Can you give us any updates on when we might see something from that game? Maybe at the next Tokyo Game Show?

Suda: Its up in the air whether were going to show something at TGS. EA has the right to decide to do stuff like that. We can only say that were working hard with Mikami-san, and trying our best to create the best game.

Nah, I remember when it was first announced they said 2010. But I honestly thought it would be late 2010, so early 2010 is early and damned welcome for me.

YES.

This was one game that I actually finished in the past few years (my backlog is ridiculous). There was a little too much filler, but the game was insanely fun. Scans look great and I can’t wait to play this game.

For those that like the music, search for “The Outer Rim”, a Jazz (acid jazz?) band featuring an MGS producer. They have a crazy mix of the main theme and a couple of short “Skits”, for lack of a better word, with Sylvia and Travis (the real voice actors, playing those roles) years after the first game (this will probably be non-canon). Good music.

A few No More Heroes 2 infos :

• Story : it’s been 3 years since Travis became the Number One assassin. Santa Destroy is now at the hand of big companies which thanks to massive investments, transformed the small town into a big city. And not only is it the time Sylvia Christel chooses to suddenly reappear into Travis’ life as an organisation agent, but his friend Bishop also ends up being involved in a pinch with some bad guys. Just the time for Travis get back to the grind and face some new battles…
• Wrestling moves are back, and along with some fresh dual-wielding swords action, they promise a more varied battle system.
• New characters introduced : an afro dude, Nathan Copeland, ranked 50th on the UAA ranking, and which is apparently a Travis fan ; as well as a mysterious beam-weapon wielding school girl, which seems to be related to Travis somehow.
• Famitsu’s website should have a trailer on May 30th, and they’ll also start taking applications for a T-shirt design contest.

If that guy is ranked 50, could you imagine 50 boss fights with little filler (I know its not likely).

This shit is gonna be fucking sweet. I still say too many people slept on NMH1 and now you can get this and Red Steel for $30. From what I’ve seen this throws the True Ending out of the window I guess. But fuck it, I get more Travis and Miss Sylvia and I can’t say no to that. This summer I’ma finish my Bitter Mode game and find all the hidden shit.

Rumor: Ubisoft publishing No More Heroes 2.

Makes sense, they published the first one… but the important part is that if they are, they should be showing something for it at E3, as well.
